    It's simply amazing that John really didn't like his voice.... I've heard these so called" facts " throughout the years but I don't know how much truth there is to them.... Does anyone really know the absolute truth on wether this is true or false ? We as BEATLES fans know that John's voice is simply outta'this world.... I do find it hard to believe that he would dislike his voice....

    The Beatles understood the use of harmonies as powerful instruments ...filling out the sound..

  • @markstyles5103
    @markstyles51033 жыл бұрын

    I noticed with Ron Howards movie, of the early live video footage.. exactly how intricate their vocals were. The first album was done in one 14 hours stretch.. Part of the Beatles early success and what set them apart,, was the constant shifting/modfying of harmonies.. Often changing every 4 bars, new vocal elements were coming in/out. When they performed live, George sang a lot more leads. So you had trhee lead singers, You couldn't get tired of the lead vocals, they wre always shifting, growing,/ They had learn't about every vocal trick/hook you could put into a song, from the huge amount of cover songs they did. This gave them a unique sound, which the average listener wasn't probably aware of. Later when they got into the much more complicated studio songs, they used the same idea of a procession of unique instruments, coming in, different parts of the songs.. When you go back and listen to Beatles albums, you realize they start stop, change time signatures, tempos, much more often that other bands. They had learnt every trick in the book to keep a song bouncing, alive and catchy.

    Remember, John was a 22 year old kid when he wrote this. Who wrote songs like this in 1963? No one. Who wrote (and sang) melisma's like Lennon in 1963? No one. How did he know where and when to employ them in this song (and many others)? And all of them here are so genuine and natural and fitting, and not forced, contrived, or stupid. Where did this come from John?
