A lot of the Gintama crowd is actually pretty cool. I doubt a single one of these endings is underrated, but some are just played more than others. But yeah that was a sick ending for the time, good ol redballoon. Obviously it must have done well because they came back with Opening 3 later as well.

My favourite ending besides the 5th one, although I've seen 9 endings until now.

Best comedy, amazing action, amazing emotional and heartwarming moments, amazing characters, so many life lessons, amazing music (OPs, EDs and OSTs). Gintama truly is the best anime ever

4 iterations on television with over 300 episodes and 3 movies =/= underrated and or slept on. Outside of niche English sites, it was one of TV tokyo's most profitable series for the first half of the 2010s.

@@NeptuneCactus yeah its not underrated in japan but like some series like saint seiya or connan literally no one outside of japan knows them, other than some specific countries like south america for saint seyia and middle east for captain tsubasa

There may come more popular anime but Gintama will always be the GOAT for me. The laughter and tears I’ve experienced watching this anime is second to none. Can’t wait for the final movie to wrap everything up.

Whose excited for the movie? I can't wait for it to come it Gintama is really over it's not the Gorilla's classic trolls It's really over. But, I was glad to be part of the journey and for those of you who haven't watched yet watch Gintama you will not be disappointed the cast of lovable idiot's will keep you *HOOKED* I promise you along with other iconic moments from the show as well, The Gorilla knew what he was doing with this anime indeed.

@@kur0_maru I like the song a lot. It’s not AS high for me as most, but I can easily say that it has the most Opening level visuals out of the entire set of Endings. Shura and Speed of flow always felt the strongest to me, heavy and straight out intense rock rather than relying on electronic sounds. That’s just more my style.

@@flavoredchin yea this is more fitting, it’s not underrated at all. Everyone who watches it loves it which is why it dominates the Mal rankings. It’s more that it doesn’t get the attention it deserves in the west but that’s been changing recently with a large growth in the number of people watching it this year(or atleast it seems that way on Ig and Twitter)

@@carlosmartinez7474 Precisely, but you’d think a highly acclaimed series with strong comedy, action, and characters in general would be more well known. I mean the Benizakura arc alone took this series to a league of its own, but they just kept building on that and making some of the most heartfelt arcs and stupid/genius jokes.

It's not underated in Japan it's one of the Tops their it's not as popular in the west because the Comedy doesn't connect with people aswell as others and the First 60 episodes can be a big turn off for most people

God it’s crazy to think the same band did Fly High in Haikyu, such different sounds. I prefer this one for sure, there’s just such an emotional tone to it that I don’t really get from the other stuff. And the visuals are a killer, best I’ve seen for a BURNOUT SYNDROMES anime song.

I’m with Shura and Speed of flow 100%. Glorious Days is fantastic as well (the visuals are what give it that big edge in particular). I wasn’t really a huge fan of Destiny to be honest though. Otherwise I love every other ending besides maybe Asa Answer.

Speed of Flow one of the best songs in anime

My favorites are 5:57 Shura 10:28 Speed of Flow 14:57 I Ai Ai 31:24 Expect 35:54 Glorious Days 37:24 Acchi Muite Especially Shura and I Ai Ai are just incredible. The Gintama soundtrack is definitely on par with the amazing story. Masterpiece anime.

Well the story got a fulfilling end. I am happy I didn't drop it somwhere before ep100.

Gintama has the best line up of endings ever made, some are even good enough to be openings on their own

Glorious Days is so glorious that it could be mistaken for an opening

the first ending slaps so hard, just me? especially at the 0:48 part and onwards until that verse stops, its so nice

Balance Doll is one of the most underrated endings imo, there's something about the melody and lyrics that just poke at my soul 💜

There will never be another anime like Gintama🫡 Also ending 3 and 9 are my favorites even though just about all of them are masterpieces

The endings are incredible... I'm currently at 8th ending and all of them are amazing! Especially Shura and Yuki no Tsubasa.

Shura is so iconic

I wish it was early high school again, when all I had to worry about was how fast I could catch up to Gintama.

20:52 Wonderful days always manages to make me tear up. The music is beautiful and slightly sentimental but feels positive as well. The moment where the refrain starts again and Gintoki notices all the friends he made along the way following him just rips my hear out, I love this anime so much!

Ed 12 is too underrated to be the best Ed

Was introduced to the series by ed 5 by random chance. Best random thing to have happened to me in a long time

36:55 is such overwhelming, powerful imagery. It shows that even though these two couldn't have been any more opposed to one another for a good portion of the story, neither one of them is doing it to be malicious or evil "Just cuz." They both believe that what they're doing is right and will stop at nothing to see it through. It just so happens that they disagree on what the right thing to do is. Very powerful visual storytelling.

The last ending has to be one of the best. Chico with HoneyWorks blasted through it with an amazing song and as you watch it you begin to realize the beginning of the journey that you started and how it will soon end with the only thing left of it is rewatches of an incredible show

Gintama will always be my favorite anime, this anime is the reason why I created my channel. Going to rewatch and review all the episodes of Gintama for sure. Some like it hot!
