Endwalker was my first new expansion, and it was a pleasure getting to collect all of these. I'm always at work when the new patches drop, so I always looked forward to watching your relic stage videos and deciding which to grind for first when I got home

I wouldn't mind the glows for the final steps being all the same if the base weapon models at least had different aesthetics and/or the weapons all had different colored glows rather than just the blue and purple

Every single one of these are gorgeous!! even the matte ones! Thanks so much for the hard work on putting this video together! I love these vids but always have the same question every time I watch one... what is that outfit?!?!?! Would it be possible for you to add the outfit names to the side of the screen? smaller txt is fine, we can pause the video to get the names. I seem to be always taking a screen shot of an outfit and pasting it in my FC discord to ask what the top is or what the shoes are.... lol I think they're sick of me. Anyways... your vids are much appreciated!

I like how you used Zenos for presenting the reaper weapon because the thought of Zenos playing through all of Hildi to get this weapon without just cutting him down is hilarious. :D

They started off as upgrades to the relic gear weapons, into wholly unique designs into Space/alien/Omnicron weapons (due to the whole manderville weapons being made by extraterrestrials) I had no real issue with them, and i even like the glows. They have done similar glow stuff before in the past for final weapons. ARR, SB and SBH all had the same glows, but more often, they had color changes. Only weapon series with radically different end glows was Anima in HW and even then previous steps were similar in glowing stuff. If you dont believe me go look up the relics from past expansions. All bozja weapons have stain glass glows, all eureka weapons have the amano design with super twistly glowy bits, and all ARR have outline glows on the weapons. I feel like part of people not enjoying the relic appearances now is just due to how easily obtainable it is compared to previous relics. Me personally i actually like a lot of these end weapons. I thought the first 2 looks were sub par and the second look was okay for others. I'll rock these looks for a while until i feel the urge to go back to other relics if i so wish.

The designs look fine, but they just don't scream 'relic' to me. They seem like something that would drop from a raid. Specifically for PLD Amazing SnS is a low-fantasy design with a fairly basic aesthetic. Majestic SnS is a high-fantasy design with a more otherworldly aesthetic, but it still fits into the game. Mandervillious SnS looks like something that would drop in a raid, particularly The Arcadion, going by the extent of RGB lighting involved. It just doesn't make sense. Fantasy -> Fantasy -> Beep Boop. Its less a matter of not liking the design and more so a matter of the design jumping the shark aesthetically. I guess I'll just have to live with the Majestic SnS replica whenever it gets dual dye channels.

@Direwolf13PS3 it made sense when you read the quest text and understand that the manderville story was dealing with aliens. The weapon quest was all about reforging weapons the late ancestor of Godbert had created in the past in hopes of making them for people in the event something like the Final Days came back to defend themselves with. The two other steps were estimations and ideas, while the final step is the closest to the originals possible. These weapons were going to be the weirdest but also big fantasy with the alien tech going on. Even the quest said Pupu lend his hands in crafting the final step blueprint a little. I am not a fan of the idea the mandervilles are aliens (and then quickly retconned to have the current mandervilles be from adopted great grandparents) and it can be a bad story but they went and made it make sense in the long run why the final weapons look like that. As was the blades being antique looking, Eureka being Amano inspired, and so on. Taste can be subjective as seen by this collection. I know people who despised the Eureka weapons who then came around to them due to their uniqueness and I feel that due to the ease of obtaining these relics that sentiment might change as time goes on. Truth be told any of the weapon steps could of come from other content. First step could of been the relic job gear, the second could of also came from a raid with how all of them had that flaming fire effect too. It's a matter of perspective.

@italian504 That isn't the point I made, and Pupu's tech doesn't look like that. A more advanced variation on the Majestic designs would've looked more unique than something I would've expected to see in Tera ten years ago.

Im returning for Dawntrails and I'm really happy the best looking relic for my main job is not on tbe final form

Endwalker Relics have so far been my favorite to go for. The effects and design are awesome! The final step is much better than Shadowbringer's

Nice video ! I dont like the last weapons that much - almost always the third one is the best looking one for me - overall there were a ton cooler relic weapons from older content (ARR or Heavensward has cool looking ones)

agree 100%. these look more like the spruced up version of a extreme trial weapon than relics imo. none of them look all that worth getting to me. will just stick with the second/third stage versions

Mostly agree except for GNB, I really don't like the 3rd step gunblade. I love the first one, though.

steps 1, 2, and 4 are almost all awesome across the board. I'd say 50% of the last steps are great as well.

Bard and Dancer got the coolest ones this time ngl… ugh I’m not a fan of either but bard may be another I level 😞

I really dont dig the final stage but the majestic one are well .... indeed majestic

looking back, I actually liked a lot of the 1st phase models...some of then had genuinely good base model designs like whm and drk....shame that the 2nd phase ones looked really out of place in comparison. I do like most of phase 3 and I think it'll have its place in Solution9 for sure. I think bard got the hugest glow up by far, I absolutely love the bis bow. I also think whm also has a nice design with the cyperpunk-themed flower. Unfortunately I think sum/sch and ast weapons need some sort of redesign, I just can't think of them being weapons at all...I'm not playing a fantasy game to have shiny-looking books

Uhg...I wish the monk relic weapon wasn't so pointy. I do enjoy the color scheme. Oh well.

The Majestic SnS design looks like a high-fantasy evolution of the Amazing SnS, and then it just becomes 'RGB GAMING' SnS. I don't dislike the design, but it just doesn't seem very 'relic' to me. I truly hope relics in Dawntrail are more inspired and less visually similar between classes. The Majestic step was more varied.

I wish they had gone for a more biomechanical look as the final stage. It’d probably be a least a lil less jarring, and also fit the lore of the mandervillous aliens

Tbh, the final glow should have been an upgrade of the Eureka Orthos wpn (would have been nice since we havent got a shiny wpn from a deep dungeon since PotD) and the exquisite wpn glow should be the relic's. I get that they did the exquisite wpn to force people into running criterion savage instead of just giving actual good reward. Kinda like what they did with Eureka back then where they back loaded all the good stuff and if you dropped because it was legitimately shit content you were SoL. The decisions they make sometimes are just fucking stupid. That final glow fits with like 1 type of glam without clashing. The previous glow is actually better IMO the last one looks nice but not for a relic.

I like all relics because they take time to make and commitment To me that’s a sign of dedication which equals love of the game. I think these ones look cool with the high tech aesthetics. It’s different and I have lots of glam from late alagan to augmented Allahabad, to laws order and eureka to use.

im only gonna get some relics for the ilevel, the look at the final stages are meh. hopefully next expansions relics will be absolutely awesome!

Stupid but what armour is that?

while the process for acquiring them has left a lot to be desired I gotta say I love a lot of the designs. not just the final steps either but the 3rd step especially has some great base designs and a nice glow on most and second has a really cool unique effect for all the weapons. overall I'd say these are some of the best looking relics imo. its too bad BLM gets SHAFTed yet again and WHM steals all the cool weapon glams for rods. -__- when will this injustice end?

I feel like the second and last stages are kinda lame, mainly cause I've always disliked the ribbon effect, and all the weapons have the same techy/magitek effect in the last stage. The other stages go pretty hard though. (Apart from Dancer, the last stage of that one is very nice)

Im so disappointed at how the final stage looks the same for all the classes. In fact i was so disappointed that i didnt even realize that it was the final stage. One week away from dawntrail i thought, when will they finally release the final relic quest. Ow man...

The final stage weapons are the best! When designing a techno-futuristic look there few options, but now with this final stage they might have re-skinned Ironworks armor that is long overdue. Bout time!!!!

Gunblade and Sage relics look the most appropriate. I like the hex patterns, they look cool but don't really work for most classes (imo).

You can pretty much appreciate the quality of an expansion by looking at the relic weapons. So we can say that EW was nice, but we had WAY better.

The only ones that look good are mnk, dnc, whm, and sge. Rpr is kinda ok too. It sucks that they're all the same color. They were all such ornamental, pretty designs at first that serviced the weapons and then they did a complete 180 and ruined them imo :(. It's not a horrible concept just really poorly executed

Got about a 50% bad location rate to show these off...bad lighting, features visually merging with the background, etc. Not the best production value and certainly not the best relics visually, but nice collection.

Thank you for your feedback. I actually thought to have increased the Production value a lot and chose basically every zone/dungeon available in Endwalker for a reminiscent journey through the expansion. I will try to make it even better in dawntrail 👍

These final stages are rough. It reminds me of Stormblood omega raids with everything all tech like. I really didn't care for those raids. Even tho they tried throwing nostalgia in them. Felt bland, cold, uninspired just like these final relic weapons.

​@tomvallieres4241 I guess by "long" I say it in a sense that if you've been playing since 2.x and haven't done Mandeville, you're looking at 7-9 hours IF you're a lore hound. Maybe 2-3 if you don't care about it.

Mandeville takes 0 effort compared to the rest honestly. ARR you have to do so many random steps that seem to not make sense for new players anymore, HW is no longer a pain but still a heavy poetics cost dump and a couple dungeons to unsync, Eureka can be lengthy the first time because of leveling and needing specific spawns, Bozja has way more steps first time and some are outright a pain like 15 time worn on repeated. Mandeville is as easy as spamming esc key if you care not for the story and unlocking the vendor to buy the reagents for tomes. Thankfully it's only about 6000 tomes each weapon from first step compared to what poetic amount you need for HW relics. It's so easy you can finish a weapon step a day or two purely by doing your daily roulette no problem. 900 a day or more if you get lucky in some roulette. The most passive weapon grind imaginable.

@@italian504 not even that. You could get a full weapon in a day if after you do all your roulette, hunting, and you your lvl 90 random dungeon. That's easily at the end of day.

@sanakan6903 all relics do that big style jump. Eureka is also another with a homogenized similarity being Amano inspired weapons. I don't really see what the issue is aside personal taste. The glows are what I feel could of had different colors like previous relics based on roles.
