I think Fiveman was my favorite super sentai in terms of plot and mecha design. The story's just too wholesome and the robots' heads looked simple enough. I also love their simplicity.

I've discovered yesterday your channel and I've been instantly hooked!! The video editing, with all those closeups, the general setup, and the music you chose, is simply stellar!! Not to mention, all those plastic sounds during assembly are beyond satisfying to hear, almost ASMR for Tokusatsu/Toy robots fans!! You've earned a new subscriber!! (PS: about the aforementioned "plastic sounds", I'd like to warn you that many Japanese commenters down here are asking you to be more delicate while assembling the parts, as these toys are fragile and are now valuable collector items. Still, congratulations for the video!!)

I always find that the biggest megazord gets shafted by becoming a ride-along :(

オーブロッカーとVRVロボは特にひどい

いつかジョイント破損するのは目に見えている位に、雑な扱いだった(T_T)。 最後格納するとき腕引っ掛かって曲がって入っていたし。

Honestly, I still love Fiveman to this day, but the only thing that bothered me about Fiverobo was that it was made of three mechas, not five.

I think that may have been one of the things that probably hurt the series because Fiveman wasn’t a very well received series And I think at that point people were used to each ranger having their own Mecha so that’s why from Jetman and onward it became customary for each ranger to have their own mecha.

I dunno why but Max Magma reminds me a lot of Daimos. Just if it was a heavily armored robot.

Man, this is gotta be one of the biggest Super Sentai mecha base EVER ! This thing is like a few hundred meter tall and it would have been able to level cities like Dekabase robo withease.

I think it's about the same size as dekabase actually, unless you mean in the show specifically. Otherwise the toys at least are the same

ウチのファイブマン玩具だって、慎重に扱っていても破損はしたけど、この動画のような扱いはしなかったぞ。 壊れた玩具も、補修可能なら補修する。ファイブマンはそうやってビッグガロアンにやられたスーパーファイブロボを修復してゾーンとの最終決戦に勝ったのだ（マックスマグマは壊れちゃったけど･･････）。 この動画主には壊れた時の事への配慮が無いし、動画も間違ってるトコ多いし（本来付いてるツインカノンを外してるし、超次元ソード二刀流や、スターハングビームにもしないし）そういう意味でファイブマン愛が無いな･･･････。

I watched the show but not its entirety as the tv station that aired it stopped showing this after 7 episodes (or more). Anyways, I would love to have these robots.

I don't really like that old sentai mechs in their combined robo form barely have any traces of the individual mechs. A cool jet fighter.....just becomes a box. A badass looking land rover.....also becomes a box. And then a super cool massive air carrier......gets broken apart and also becomes a box

Your absolute fixation with closeups is incomprehensible. But if you really want all of the closeups, then it's FULL VIEW FIRST, closeups later. Not the opposite. You need to KNOW WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING AT, then you ca appreciate the smaller details. It's completely useless to see a shot of a plastic gun or a wheel if you haven't seen WHERE THEY ARE on the model.
