In today’s video I go over very key differences when it comes to two of the biggest card collecting spaces in all of the collectible card industry. Whether you are a Sports card fan or if you are a Pokémon / Trading Card Game / Non Sports Card fan you are sure to learn something about the other hobby that you might not have even known or considered to be an aspect of it. Sometimes there is not black and white answer to which of the things are better or which one is worst. But you surely can have fun no matter which one you personally enjoy to collect. I also throw in one of my biggest tips and tricks in order to master the Pokémon trading card game market and it is WAY EASIER than anything sports cards would ever offer.

I feel sports cards has too many players to keep up with. Pokemon you know there's maybe 10 main Pokemon that will sell all the time and with the new Alt Art that Pokemon are doing each buyer has their "collection" that they are building. I think sports cards are fun tho because they have the whole "rookie" aspect and potential to be a superstar to it, selling into the hype. Great video BTW!

I appreciate the support and glad you liked it :) it was definitely a fun one to think about and talk about! Yea that is one of the big differences also, you also dont have to worry about fans of a certain sports team never wanting to buy certain teams or players because of rivalries or if they don’t happen to be on the team they like. With Pokémon you never or very very very rarely have to worry about someone not buying a grass or electric type Pokémon because they like water Pokémon. Just a point I forgot to mention since the video was so long as it was.

14:35 this is technically incorrect. The set is stamped on the right side of the card, the charmander you were holding is from Team Rocket Set, indicated by the big R. Modern cards have a coding at the bottom left of the card ex. MEW=151 English

Ahhhh okay okay thank you for telling me about that, I never noticed that before until you mentioned it. I just got back into collecting pokemon, I’m guessing the rarities in the corner might be also helpful to indicate if it’s a trainer gallery or if it’s a sir or not also, or that part might reign true
