So glad it's over !!!

I was supposed to go to jury duty but where I’m a full time caregiver for my husband and have major heart problems my Dr wrote a letter and I got excused. The main reason I got out is I pass out a lot because my blood pressure will drop all the sudden my cardiologist put me back on driving restrictions I did do jury duty before my husband got sick but never had to go back.

I'm so glad they allowed you to be dismissed! There are so many circumstances that should be excused from jury duty. Single moms, caregivers, illness etc. I'm glad my duty is done ✔️.

I say you are I used to go sit with my mom when she was a police officer and she had to go to trial I would sit in the back with a coloring book and crayon she was a juvenile officer also and did probation this was back in the 80’s the judge said that I could stay he said that I would learn things. Our school went on a field trip and spent the day seeing what the people went through even though I already knew. Some of the things people did was horrible I can’t wait to see how your laundry room turned out I absolutely love your closet I wish I had a huge closet mine is little.

I couldn't eat spicy foods during my three pregnancies for my kids as it would give me severe heart burn and then after I had my kids a had to build up my tolerance for spice again as even a jalapeno with no seeds was feeling extremely hot for me after I had my kids. My youngest is nearly five and I finally feel like I can eat my super spicy for other people food, that I always find is only just spicy enough for me. It'll take time to build your tolerance up again.

At least you're done for a time now, and hopefully, you never have to go back. The first time I was chosen to serve in the jury box, it was because someone broke his parole by buying alcohol and drinking and driving, and a cop happened to see his erratic driving. Followed him home, ran his license, and arrested him. The prosecutor had one of those voices that was so boring, and he kept asking the same questions in different ways. We finally got a lunch break. Went back, we were called back out to the courtroom. I think we were all tired. The man sitting to my left started nodding off. I looked towards the judge. He was watching the man. His head kept falling to his chest. The whole time the judge is watching. On the outside, I'm calm, but on the inside, I'm freaking out because I knew that judge was about to lay in on all 13 of us. Next thing I know, the man is asleep, and he's sliding over right towards me. I knew we were screwed. Right before he landed on my shoulder, the judge slammed his gavel down hard, which scared the crap out of me, lol, stopped the trial, made us stand up, and proceeded to chew us all out. It was both humiliating and embarrassing. He gave us a 15-minute break and told us when we came back, we better all be fully alert. We ourselves chewed the man out for getting us in trouble and made him drink some coffee. Needless to say, we were all fully awake. Thank God it was basically an open and closed case because the man on trial broke the rules. I hate jury duty. Malcolm really missed his mommy. That was so sweet how he hugged you.

Oh no!! That really stinks your experience wasn't great. Our bailiff was amazing. She kept an eye on us and got us water or coffee to keep us awake during the trial. It can be tedious because they have to give us all the facts and some of it is boring 😴 plus the sound machine when they approach the bench definitely put me in a sleepy mode.

I’ve been on two juries before. One was a foreclosure on a big house, not far from where I live. The other, believe it or not, was a murder trial! Boy if that wasn’t interesting! We actually found it self defense. That one we got to go to our cars before they let the audience go. There were some upset people there.

Wow! That's insane!! What a story to tell though that you were in a murder jury.

Morning Jessie.. sorry about your very long day hope this is the end for you!!! 😂😂😂😂 nope nope that sauce is not for you the facial expression said it all.. Whenever you get your video up I'll be here to watch I think you need a day of good rest( I know with a toddler it's not easy but do your best) ok enjoy the day and see you at the next one💜💜

What a waste of everyone’s time. I most definitely would get out of jury duty. I had that sauce the other day, it’s not that good, I like the spice, but it just doesn’t taste that good.

Where I am you are excused if you are pregnant or care fur a child under 5. You just check it off, you don't need doctor excusal.
