Usually in Spoon, bands only release two bangers and just disappear, or members leave and join new bands. But Chirpy Chips? Consistently peak and haven't broken up in their 8 year existence.

It took me a while to grow to like No Quarters... but now I love it

0:36 something about this part of Shellfie gives me so much nostalgia even though I've never played the first splatoon game before

Slopping Spree is by far my favourite, particularly the chorus

Something about this bands implementation of 8 bit sounds in their songs is super satisfying.

Blitz It has always been my favorite turf war by a longshot song since splatoon 2, but ngl No Quarters comes really close to dethroning it

I just know Chirpy Chips had something to do with the S-Blast and its '91 counterpart

Best Splatoon Band except maybe the Squid Sisters but somehow every song is a banger! I mean imo those are two top five Splatoon 1 songs, Two of the top 5 Splatoon 2 songs and two Top ten songs from Splat 3.

I think that, along with making a sort of wave effect on your vocals in editing would do it. ThomasGameDocs made a good video about how many of the voices in splatoon were made so I recommend you check that out for that sorta thing

that take is spicy lol. i kinda agree, but i think as you get used to no quarters without the gong and stuff you'll like it more. the vocal switchup in the chorus is especially satisfying (12:15), and the ascending synth directly after (12:19)-- where in the trailer harmony goes like✌️ -- is really good (although at that part i miss the trailer sfx for the little ding lol)
