Is it just me or does Simmons' performance in this feel a bit more lispy and cottoned than his previous Cave Johnson recordings? I know it could be his age, but that's hard to imagine.

Exactly! He sounds muffled, maybe this is because he’s in a computer? I doubt it though, he really lacks that ultimate Cave Johnson. He owns the place!

I think it's probably from age, but it fits in really well with Cave having been stuck in a lonely prison for years just wanting to die.
