Although it is a small change, the fact that carnivores actually need to chase down their prey and get close enough, before initiating their kill animation, makes a big difference for me. The hunting now looks more like what I remembered, back when I played JPOG years ago. I even noticed that the JWE2 predators will sometimes stop their pursuits momentarily, as if to reorient themselves and/or catch their breath, just like how the JPOG carnivores occasionally acted.

I've said on the forums that it would be cool of there were Cow, Goat, Pig, and Wild Game feeders and different theropods preferred different ones. Tyrannosaurus prefers goats, Allosaurus prefers deer, Velociraptor prefers cattle, Troodon prefers pigs, etc. Would also be a good way for co-habitating theropods to not have to compete for food. It would also be nice if Frontier changed the Tapejara to forage in the fruit-providing foliage since it was a fruitvore in real life and Dimorphodon hunted prey in the ground leaf/fiber foliage since it wasn't a pscivore, and to have the options of Fish, Cephalopods, Ammonites, and Bivalves for marine reptiles.

I can't see how many goats disliked this video...

Another brutal thing about it is the way the Indominus swallows the goat. Just... No effort, which pretty much translates to the fact that the goat's bones were pretty much jello at that point.

The indominus rex being green when it first comes out is a nice touch, having taken into consideration its camouflaging abilities.

I kinda love how many of these end up with them knocking them clean through the air or slamming them into the ground like a touchdown.

@@borisp9163 no one knows what the real Rex would of looked like. The JP Rex is called shrink wrapped however more "accurate" depictions of the T rex show it too fat. Should be muscled like a Belgium blue cow imo.

I'm hoping for more animals to be fed for carnivores. cows for larger predators such as Rex and Spino, pigs for medium predators like Carnotaur and Allosaur, and chickens for small predators like Compies. it would also be interesting to watch different kill animations for each, and each animal also coming at different prices. what if you are low on funds and can't afford your carnivores their usual meals? or what if they are just not enough to satisfy their hunger and want something bigger? Having different animals to feed to your predators could add to maintaining their comfort levels

I especially love how the indominus gets a new kill animation. In the first game it simply picked up the goat delicately and swallowed it whole. Oh and my god this game looks gorgeous, hope it comes to the switch.

I loved how the T-Rex screams at first. Since it can't see unmoving objects, it screams first to intimidate its prey and makes it flee. The rest is pure killer instinct. Magestic.

The albertosaurus and acro are savage! These are so much more fluent, glad they changed something such as hunting, it being very simple.

Now this is an improvement. Carnivores actually hunting their prey

I like how they are all unique but some are similair but different like carno and albertasaur as it takes multiple bites

It looks a bit janky when they turn sharply but considering that, the animations are insanely good. Its seamless wow

I would really like to an update to the Spinosaurus. The new discoveries made add a whole new depth to that creature. I know it’s not like the movies, but it looks so much cooler in real life.

well this is all Jurassic Park design, but i agree, they need to make a dlc of real life design/looks then add an option to check ✅ it. so we would have real looks and real sound (by scientists research).

Dont wanna be rude but not each dino has its own unique animation. There are alot of animations stil the same or simply repeating itself as in jwe 1.

Man The indoraptor had a great intro.

fwoh, these poor goats man. In the last game they just stood there and died and the animations were somewhat mundane. But in this one, they're getting their bodies literally broken. Bruh that is rough. Like wtf the acro just doesnt bother with picking it up with its mouth, like nah, Im'a just squish it. Mad. Acro has some of the best animations

The animation variations are a HUGE step up from the previous game

Imagine being a T-rex, And having to live with the fact that if you fall over or trip at all, your gonna die. So you have to avoid logs at all cost because if your clumsy then you foreshadowed your demise.

So, a goat can run at 50 km/h and the fastest human in earth runs at 42km/h. We got no chance to save ourselves

I hate seeing the indoraptor run on its hind legs and not gallop I know it’s not a big deal and honestly doesn’t make seeing it worse, just imagine the indoraptor fully galloping after a goat and just crushing it. Personally I’d make the animation were the indoraptor chases and once it catches up it bites the goat just enough to to Trip it they shoving it aside with its arms in a smooth gallop to fling motion just enough to to get it in range for a final brutal kick (similar to iguanadons kill animation for small carnivores) It would then stop, turn and leap onto the goat in quick succession then snapping its neck as a violent finish. It may seem complicated but I think it would be amazing

I’m glad we did at least get it able to alternate since it makes the indoraptor very unique and it honestly doesn’t matter that it’s different from the movie I just get annoyed at little things like that

The trex had the best strat of hunting: roar at it. It'll roar so hard that the goat will die or faint of shock and then it is ready made

I still like the way indominus eats goats in the first game, the swiping it up with its arms is so smart
