I'm surprised that Marvel has brought out so much development out of Bucky's character despite him being one of the least talkative characters in the MCU and Sebastian Stan being a very quiet actor.

the introduction of the winter soldier through the broken windscreen of the car still gives me goose bumps today. And catching the shield, which makes it clear to Steve what a strong opponent he's up against. The scene with the milk and Pierce, the soldier in the shadows, I just love CATWS. Such an awesome film.

When there is so much foreshadowing of Bucky being the next Cap like in the comics and then they do him dirty. Marvel could have done his and Sams arcs as Cap. JMO.

Well, if you're asking about Bucky, he's not. He's american. Bucky was trapt by Hydra and "programmed" by russians to be the Soldier. The words that turn him into the Soldier are russian words, as well as the commands and responds. Bucky has a heavy accent though, unlike the person who was his tutor or something in Siberia
