Why did I actually start crying when Brian put Stewie in his bed and gave him a new Rupert? And then even more once Stewie woke up and said that Rupert came back to him and hugged him. That was genuinely a very sweet and emotional moment.-- the Family Guy crew still gets it right sometimes..

If you’re stuck crying after the Rupert scenes just know two things: 1.) you’re not alone, and 2.) 9:44 the track their makeshift sled made looks like a really really long shrimp

That Rupert part made cry. Brian and Stewie are truly the spotlight of the show. And their friendship is just so beautiful. Dogs are really bestfriend of human. And their friendship proves it. ❤️

10:40 really shows the writers talent- theyve always shows us that they can be "brainlessly funny" but also have deep social commentary. But in this episode they show they can be deeply heartfelt too. Well done. The kindness Brian shows a grieving Stewie at around 10:40 is so touching- its like the Family Guy equivalent of the Simpsons "DO IT FOR HER" episode.

Season 16 was a surprisingly good season for Brewie! ‘Dog Bites Bear’ and ‘Send in Stewie Please’ made me feel like they’re actually going to go to do something with these characters instead of keeping them stagnant like they had been for the past couple seasons
