I wear mines practically everyday at a 10 hour average, I’m a plumber so I needed something waterproof and steel toe because I almost lost a toe being careless 😅 empty water heater slammed on my toe when we were scraping but neither here nor there with that. But I’m averaging 2 years and I could stretch it another 6 months to another year and really see the full potential (at least for my case) but I wear down that sole quickly, and im afraid I’ll mess my balance and mess something up in the long run, iono body is at like 100k miles and I’m noticing age is kicking my ass, and I’ve neglected my feet for all of those miles. So with all that being said I’ve found my boot for life. Cheers

Glad you’re being safe now, I actually got my pair after I had a really close call as well. Let this be a message to all those working in an industry where you could easily lose a toe to go ahead and buy those steel toe boots now

I’d say with weekend wear, you could get five years on most work boots. Especially these Tims, if you wear them every day you’re lucky to get one year. So these Timberlands really step up to the competition!

i have some questions, i am more interested in these boots for their looks than anything else, so i will probably wear them casually, even tho they are intended for work enviroments. How much does the steel toe cap add to the weight of the boot, it is manageable ? Are they confortable enough for traveling long distances, and also do you find them confortable enough for daily wear ? How long do you think they will last with daily use ? And last question, how easy are they to clean in your experience ? I havent found any boot that meets my criteria and this is the closest in looks. I am the type of guy that doesnt really want to take care of a boot like its my second child, so a sturdy well made variant would suit me well.

My guy! You have ask the right person! I’ll answer your questions as they are listed First question about the weight of the boot, it is noticeable and at the end of the day I can’t wait to take them off honestly. If I was hiking through the mountains or some other ridiculous locations these might be perfect but for daily wear, especially walking down sidewalks I would not recommend the steel toe version. At that point I would get just the regular black Tims or Timberland Pro. In short, yes the extra weight is definitely noticeable and can be tiring after a long distance trekking. Second, the cleanliness. Without physical damage these boots can stay very clean. The synthetic leather is very easy to just wipe dirt away from. Any grime from snow or dust from the desert comes right off with a little light cleaning. Now as soon as the boots start to develop damage, i.e. scratches and scuffs dirt and grime will get into those and can be much harder to clean out. I will say these are similar to Converse and vans sneakers like the dirtier they get the better they look! You most definitely won’t have to clean these every day even. Very durable in that aspect. In this video that I’ve made you can see they are kind of dusty from my work in a railyard. Also honestly I’ve never cleaned these! This is the third video review I’ve made on them and you can see from the first video to the second and to this video the progression of how dirty they get. All in all I would still suggest these for anyone, but from your specific needs I would say go with a normal timberland in black leather. You will be much more comfortable with every day wear without the steel toe. That being said, they are almost the exact same price. I just did a Google search on normal black boots and they are running about the same price that I paid for these so you wouldn’t really be wasting money if you upgraded to the steel toe and you would be more protected from people running over your foot or dropping things on you. I hope this answers some of your questions and feel free to ask more if you would like. Comments on my videos are always appreciated🤙❤️ I hope you do get a good deal on whatever pair you choose!

It would be helpful if it’s cold but that’s it. Way heavy for everyday wear. Not easy to take on and off as well so no, I would go with the non-steel toe tims to get that look you are going for.
