Hello Solar Energy Enthusiast!
My goal is to make sure you will enjoy this course! Since you are reading this, it means you are looking for a reliable source of information related to grid-tied solar energy systems: Through this course, I will share with you my extensive knowledge and experience.
And lucky you! Through this course you will get a condensed version of all the fundamentals you need to be aware of. I have included several short multiple choice questions, through which you can self-test whether you have absorbed the knowledge adequately throughout the course. And to spice it up, we will also take numerous virtual excursions to websites of manufacturers of different components of your solar system. Through this approach, we make sure that we bridge the following gaps:
-We make sure that you get the relevant and unbiased knowledge from an experienced professional
- You have the possibility to test your knowledge and freely browse through the content of the course as per your preferences
- We will bridge the gap between theory & real-life examples by reviewing numerous product options which you might come across as you will be shopping for your system components
I am glad that you are interested in this course: It will teach you all the relevant knowledge, without any 'fluff', and includes several brief multiple-choice questions to test your knowledge.
I have created this course for you, fueled by my academic background in Renewable Energy Engineering and extensive field experience in the design and installation of PV Energy Systems.
You are getting a very good deal: I will summarize for you all that I have learned over the years, and all you have to do is push the button and start soaking up the information. Lucky you!
Take action now! Educate yourself by staring this course, so that you will be able to make well-informed decisions for your system. TIP: Udemy offers a very generous refund policy in case the course content turns out different than expected.
See you soon!

Great content, to the point !!! 1. I was wondering if you could do a video on Shingled PV modules. The technology looks promising. The possible pro & cons and when these panels have there biggest advantage. 2. You triggered me on the following ; You mentioned in an other video, " that lesser efficient PV modules have a relative higher efficiency with lower irradiation ", if i'm not mistaken !? If so, very interesting especially in climates with winter ( the northern hemisphere ). This is the time that electricity consumption loads are the highest, but PV production the lowest. So here comes a new video topic request ; How maximise the winter irradiation !! ( Mabye, is a Eat-West orientation the better solution ?, Table of Hespul enough indication ? Or just better off with low efficient panel ? Or better a higher Wp ( Watt piek ) installed vs your inverter 10-30% ? Cheers

Hi Jacob, thank you for your message. It is good to hear you enjoyed the video. And thank you for your excellent and concise questions, I have my work cut out for me! Great questions & topics for videos, which I indeed haven't covered yet. It might take me a while to record & upload the videos which will answer your questions, but I will! Patience is a virtue ;) PS thumbs up for comprehending the point about lower efficiency panels vis-a-vis low irradiation situation!

@@SolarSolution Hi Jesse, Yes there is so much great info to chew on, in a very easy way, outstanding work !! Got the watch out it doesn't get into a occupational deformation. All solar talk at dinner won't make my partner happy !! Saying so, looking forward to your content on the above topics and please that your time, that will make my partner happy...!!

Hi, the first time I installed a all back panel I was quite disappointed 😥 the output performance was quite very low compared to the mono system have been installing since. Yet the 280w pv specification looks much higher than the 280w mono version but performance was poor on current/watt generation. Wat could exactly be the reason?

I wanted to ask about discoloration on the solar panel surface. Sometimes a few can look like there's discolored spots on the surface. And I was worried and wanted to know if this can be indicative of unnatural heat or fire risk? In particular, I thought to ask this since there have been people that had fires with their solar panels?

Brother, I have a question, if we cover tempered glass with a black cover will it absorb more energy and maybe be more efficient, I am a Masters's student of energy systems engineering I have to do a thesis, if you have any idea on which I must to research share your idea with me and answer me on this a s well. Regards.

No. The energy comes from collecting photons not heat. I think hes wrong in this video a black panel will get hotter and reduce performance.
