It is unfortunate the original did fight with Makarov. He was there when you did the mission "all ghillied up", when you had to rescue the heli pilot in the middle east, and up until "Remember No Russian"

@@cotyclark2003Well to be fair, Yuri did explain why he was with Makarov at the start. He was young and patriotic, he thinks that what Zakhaev’s plans for Russia is the greater good. Only then he fell out when he saw that Makarov was just looking for chaos and not for the betterment of Russia.

To be fair graves was right in a sense that he never fired on anyone. He gave all of them a chance to stand down at the gate. Graves was doing his duty to protect his men. It’s all business but I’m sure if he was in the right pocket he would’ve never betrayed any of them. As for what he did in Mexico sometimes you have to get dirty when it comes to the cartels and a corrupt police force. Price said it himself when he brought a the wolfs wife and kid into an interrogation. That’s just how I see Graves as a character.

Activision, following the tragic release of MW III, Have a few options now: 1. make ghosts 2. They would choose this if they wanted to win back the OG fanbase. 2. Make a MW IV. They would do this if they wanted to make new story but using the same bad formula as MW III. 3. Make a new series like deadly warfare.... operators... it would be a fresh start for Activision 4. Create a DLC for MW III. This, like MW II, could turn into a MW IV. 5. Do nothing for 1 year 364 days 23 hours 59 minutes and 59 seconds and then get to work on 100+ bundles, a vanguard and infinite warfare remake and then decrease the story to 12 minutes with just cutscenes and increase the price to $150. Yeah, the 5th option seems more realistic.

@@TheDeveloper101 If we're talking about OG fanbase them I'm guessing the numbers are so minuscule that its not even worth talking about. If we're talking 10 year olds who just got their first cowadoody for christmas and it was cool ghost guy in a mask, then the numbers are probably a bit higher. Ghosts was one of the CoD's which started the downward spiral of the franchise.

Considering it was revealed Shepard was somewhat in on the attack at zakhaev international it very well could be assumed he made it easy for them to acquire American guns as he wanted to start the war just as much as makarov. Also unrealistic considering they parachuted from a moving civilian airliner and I also fail to see how they snuck bomb vests onto a plane without any suspicion. oh and not to mention the fact it’s just a Hollywood mess… which is ironic considering it’s COD but this versions lore was just unbelievably bad but people just lapped it up because ‘ooooo new call of duty!’ 🤷‍♂️ the lore of framing an American for an attack on Russia and then makarov destabilising the country to the point where he has control of the armed forces was easier to believe than ‘let’s just loosely base it on MH-17 and then done’ when irl what was the response for MH-17? Not a whole lot..
