@@kMerz_ Apparently they can kill Superman too. And the Flash. Oh, and Green Lantern. God this game and actually killing them makes me feel kinda icky. Like they as characters are good people and heroes. It’s not like God of War where most of the big bosses you kill are bad people or total assholes. These were heroes, being forced against their will to do this, and yet get brutally executed with little to no respect. They may be fictional characters, but doesn’t change that this does not feel right at all.

What a terrible way to end not just the Arkham Batman character but Kevin Conroy and his entire legacy of playing this character. Decades of being the definitive voice of Batman from the animated series, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, the Arkham Games, the Injustice games and all the other animated projects he was a part of just to be reduced to this. R.I.P Kevin Conroy, you will be missed.

He’s coming back in season 3-4 with the rest of the league and they will be all fine. You’ll be waiting 3 to 4 months for the season to come out but hopefully it’s worth the wait. They won’t be getting killed again

i feel like this game would be less offensive to fans if it simply just didnt exist in the same continuity as the arkham games. obviously you can still not like the game, but it wouldnt have shattered a fan favorite interpretation of the character.

This seems like a Back 4 Blood moment, where most of the devs from past games are gone, but still "made from the creators of" moment

Imagine if in Chadwick bosmans final performance as Black panther he was thrown on a bench then shot by one of the thunderbolts The Arkham verse has forever ruined it’s reputation and no multiverse or time travel can ever fix that

I seriously don't understand why they had to make this an Arkhamverse game. I mean, Deadshot was already established as a white guy in Arkham City, Batman canonically disappeared and was presumed dead, Joker was dead, Poison Ivy was dead, Harley was the least redeemable she ever was. I mean, look how hard the game had to scramble just to justify half of their story decisions, like bringing up multiverses (a plague on modern storytelling) just to bring back the Joker. It literally would have been easier if this was a brand new universe with no connections to Arkham.

NGL the Nightmare Batman look might be the best Batman design I ever saw! 25:03 That’s payback for how he carried her in Knight you can’t prove me wrong! I really wanna love the game because of the potential it showed, what it overall means for Kevin Conroy’s legacy as the Dark Knight and the Arkham Verse. But it has so many things that just don’t work. Not just out of universe with gameplay, characters etc but in universe as well. Rest In Peace Kevin Conroy. We miss you.

Sushi squad isn’t canonical. It was made by fake try hard fans who aren’t the original makers of the story. The original creators have opened up their OWN game studio and it’s the only studio I will be paying attention to for Arkham canon from this point forward.

Batman shouldve been a melee fight. The scarecrow references were cool, but a fight where if you dint notice him right away he takes you down wouldve been more interesting and would be how he actually fights

Well, you still have Nightwing who can take on the mantle of Batman. Not to mention there's Red Hood, Oracle, and possibly an Arkham variant of Damien Wayne that exist. Although we may not like how Bruce was killed off, he's by far not the only character who we can take as the next Batman going forward if there's ever to be another Arkham game.

Honestly the fact they brought Joker back, Killed off Batman and imply that the rest of the Bat Family was killed By Batman, there’s no reason for the Arkham-Verse to ever have a sequel unless we get a weird Damian Batman Beyond where it’s him alone in a Gotham without heroes. I’ve been following the arkham series ever since I got arkham city for my 8th birthday present. To me, the way it ended in arkham knight was already a great send off for the series. But this is disappointing. To know that robin died, alfred is nowhere to be seen. The bat family?? I don’t understand why they had to put this game in the same universe. I get that they probably did it so they could ramp up the arkham community to help hype up the game. But cmon..seriously..

Keaton and Arkhamverse. Two of my favourite Batmans killed off unceremoniously in the same year.

I don’t understand why you all are acting like the developers KNEW that Conroy was going to die. He signed the contract to play the character, and died well after finishing his performance.

This is not Batman. I have a theory that this is actually the Failsafe robot.

I’m more upset that Tim gets killed off screen. Like now I want Jason to get turned into a playable character so he can kill Batman and be like “that was for Tim”

As for the arkham verse, I don't know what probably happened in the 5 years as most don't even know. In the new 52 tim basically saw Jason as a brother and helped him. Even forgiving him. In ak, they probably never met. So, it's kinda interesting for me. I am going to assume that they must have met during the 5 years. Probably having fights with Jason and stopping his killings.

Youre telling me that Batman while having the power of fear toxin influencing the Squad, with none of the inhibitions or codes stopping him. Couldnt instantly kill Quinn and Dead Shot two character he casually beats while holding back. Throw Boomerang in the mix since hes a dude who literally throws boomerangs. I feel like Harley being able to overcome the fear toxin was kinda BS. I mean, from what she said, it does make sense, and in Injustice 2 she does something similar, but even in Injustice 2 she still fell under the fear toxins effect. So, like I said, her being able to overcome the fear toxins feels kinda BS. So, with Batman dying in this game, I guess he’s actually seeing all those death screens.

Brainiac controlling the Justuce league and them all dying as an idea is fine but the fact that this is the ARKHAM series Batman dying in such a shit way ruins it. With some story tweaks this could've been pretty good imo

Rocksteady should make their own version of gothams knights following the events of Arkham Knight it would make sense and they could reuse the lines Bruce says to Robin during the contingency plan scene, it would be better than whatever this game was, it would give Batman a better/proper ending, and it would be cool to see Robin, Red hood, night wing and oracle interact in the Arkhamverse
