To me, Anita is one of the best female athletes in history. Just think about it: She's the only woman who has won 3 olympic individual gold medals in an athletics event and until this year she was the only woman who throw a hammer over 80 metres, even his WR is over a metre and a half over the second best woman ever!

And she won again!❤

Funfact: Anita wear another athlete's glove - Kamila Skolimowska. Kamila is first ever olympic golden medalist in women's hammer throw from olympics in Sydney. Sadly Kamila died in 2009 😭.

Worked at Sydney 2000 Olympics and had a photo taken with Kamila after her victory. A lovely lady. She was Anitas' training partner and when she passed Anita got the glove she won Sydney wearing and wore it at every Olympics so Anita carried on that tradition. Will be interesting to see if Anita passes it to next generation when she retires.

Can you guys please start posting 2021 highlights? I barely get to witness anything that happens due to time differences and limited television coverage. I understand the highlights may come on KZread later, but it is not the same when they’re posted weeks or even months later. Please post every single event that happens, without discrimination of the popularity, as it is your job to bring the games to all of us. At the moment I feel as if the olympics are some kind of whitelisted, pay per view type of event, which is absolutely a disgrace and shame as this is a once in a four year international affair that everyone should be able to experience. If this lag in video production persists it is terrible for marketing the games.

I've always regretted that this throw from 4th round was outside and couldn't be measured. She would've won with that outright and wouldn't need to wait for the truth about Lysenko cheating to come out.

@@VoidCosmonaut Not the first time, for example another Polish athlete Robert Korzeniowski, racewalker is 3 times winner of the 50 km walk at the Summer Olympics. He won 1996 in Atlanta, 2000 in Sydney, and 2004 in Athens.
