You should do a tutorial on how to do a tutorial. I'm so sick of trying to learn something from someone who knows less then I do and what they do know they can't communicate. Your are such a perfection . such a pleasure to watch you.
It doesn’t matter how long your videos are to me. Every time I walk away with new ideas because I’ve learned something else or I have a new perspective on an “old tool” that I already knew. Thank you for putting so much time and effort into helping so many of us learn to feel successful and satisfied with the work we do. Your efforts are truly priceless.
this is an older video and very informative. I have been wondering what the heck is Glide! Now I know. I used to shop Superior Threads all the time some years ago. It must be a newer one, but you have convinced me to try it. I think I’m a fan, I have bought your latest book, and just recently purchased some of your quilting rulers as I am learning to use my sit down long arm machine. thank you for sharing things you have experienced in this fun world of quilting!
Angela, it is incredibly generous of you to make this information downloadable for no cost! I have learned so much from you and I enjoy your videos greatly. Wishing you a safe and healthy Thanksgiving!
Love prewound bobbins. Less bobbin changes, and tension is better because the winding is more consistent.
I have learned everything I know from watching many of your videos. You basically taught me how cut.to piece, and quilt. I’ve never taken an in person class. QUILTING TRULY IS MY THERAPY. Thank you for sharing all your wisdoms, techniques and ideas. We love you❤️🙏
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I started with SoFine and nowuse it exclusively in my bobbin. For the last year, I have beel exclusively using Madeisa polyneon machine embroidery thread.. love love love it.
So glad you share so willingly and videos are available after the chats. My work schedule typically does not allow me to view as they are happening. Thank you!
Thank you Angela! I’m new to quilting and love your instruction. I am finishing my third quilt in two months thanks to your encouraging videos they aren’t perfect but they are finished! And I’m not telling where the mistakes are 🤣 You made me courageous to machine quilt on my 64 year old Singer that I bought with my mom when I was 18 ♥️ and she is humming right along with me in my retirement 👵🏻😍. Thank you thank thank you!
Angela, I have learned so much from you, but I would watch even if I didn’t. Your videos and live chats are like visiting with a friend! You encourage me to try new things, and I am beginning to believe that I can enjoy quilting on my long arm! Thank you for providing the helpful videos.
I really enjoy the chats. I feel like you're sitting here in my sewing room with me. Hope to meet you in person some day at a quilt show or maybe even at your shop. I'm glad you were able to start up the Midnight Quilter too. Thanks Angela for sharing your talents.
You my dear Angela are a wonder and I adore you and your work. I have learned so much from all if your videos and the incredible knowledge you share so freely. One if the biggest things is to relax have fun and stop worrying that it is not perfect. Can 't say that I am not still picking out points that don't match and umm, error wobbly quilting, but I am getting better at just having fun creating something beautiful. A heartfelt thanks to you take good care and stay safe!
Excellent video on thread. I’ve been so confused. Thank you 🙏🏻
Didn't realize you were on every week even though I have my "bell" on for all your videos. Great info. Thank you so much 💕
Thank you, thank you, thank you! This was just what I needed. This clarified so much for me and definitely going to laminate the print out. Blessings, Phillane
Love the chats, they are so informative. Always learn something!! I'm so happy you brought back the Midnight Quilter. Thank you for all you do to help us.
Thread is now FUN and no longer just a necessary item! Thanks Angela for sparking the creative fire 🔥❤️
Love Love Love! So glad these are here even after the live chat. Thanks Angela keep on drinking, I mean quilting.
I appreciate these videos so much, thank you!!!
I really needed this class. I have a hard time learning about threads but you did a great job of explaining, I just got a long arm this year , have been enjoying all your videos…love all your free handouts…thanks…❤
I have started making quilts to donate to the Linus Project. You gave me the confidence to do this. All of your tutorials have enable me to keep on quilting. Thank you so much!
Great information, love these chats!
Love, love, love all of your videos!!! Keep it up!! ❤️❤️
Me too, love thread n get lots of them everywhere I go!
I really like the tri-colored dresden plate. Fussy looking without being difficult. Just my style!!
I have found that if you use a lower quality cotton thread on a longarm, it sheds worse than my dog! What a mess! You inspired me to use glide during the FMC and it was so clean and neat. Did require tension adjusting and a different needle, 110, but so worth it!
Thanks so much. This was wonderful. Just what I needed to know.
Angela, thank you so so much for your knowledge, regards from Madrid, Spain
Thanks Angela!! Always love your videos. Look forward to them!!
As I watched this video I picked the lemon ice for my white background. It's so perfect thanks! I had NO idea what I was actually going to use. Thanks Angela I have learned so much from your videos!!
Beautiful fabric! Thanks for sharing your thread knowledge!

Thread net is a new concept!! LOVE THIS! My sulky threads fall and its so hard but I LOVE the threads.
Great info! I finished my first “build a quilt BOM” block. Love it 😍
Great information. Thank you Angela!
Extremely useful video. Thank you. Lovely fabric too :)
Such a great information help. Quilting is so challenging when the thread isn't right.
Those fabrics from your new collection are absolutely beautiful!!!
This was extremely helpful. I have been quilting for years and learned so much. I must love thread almost as much as Angela because that presentation flew by. I could have listened another hour!!
Love your instructional advice. You inform and entertain. Love it!
Thanks Angela. A lot of information here!
Thank you so much! I always learn so much from you. Have a happy Thanksgiving! See you again in two weeks!
This ended up being a fascinating master class on thread-- so interesting and useful!
Karen Brown from Just get it done quilts quoted you in her interview with Anita Zobens in the 31st minute! Love getting to know this quilting community. 💕
Good information on thread and choosing color. Love it.
I found this very informative. Thank you.
Angela, Thank you this was so informative.
Glide thread is my favorite for quilting. Thank you for getting me hooked on it some time ago. I use Maxi thread for piecing. Thank you for not being what I call a thread snob. Your attitude towards quilting is why I love watching you. Thank you also for being an educator even for us old timers.
I love your show, you are so down to earth with a kick of humor! I have tried a lot of the threads you talked about today. I agree with what you said. I relay prefer Superior threads to some others. I haven't had any luck with the aurifil 50 weight threads on the long arm, but it is definitely my favorite for piecing! Love seeing the midnight show again!
THANK YOU!! you answered my thread questions!!
So glad I found this. Wow so informative. Thank you so much.
First I've missed you Angela. I bought some polyester thread off the internet a couple years ago and they constantly broke in my machine so I got all cotton threads and no problem.
Thank you for all the informations I’m new in quilting 🤗
Thank you so much for this video, I have been searching for information about threads. I machine quilt, just getting back into after taking a break. Love your videos , so glad to see midnight quilter back in action!!
This is really, really helpful!
Oh I would love some of that fabric...I bought the stash builder at the party and thought I was getting this line. Love It! Thank you for all the great information.
Thank you for an excellent overview of thread. Very helpful to this novice!
Thank you Angela fantastic information.
I have recently found your live chats and this is the second one I have watched; thank you very much for a very informative and helpful session (plus I have bookmarked this for future reference too ) 👍😊
Seeing each type of thread & the stitched samples was so helpful. And the samples are beautiful! Thanks for all the info & the download. Have a great day.
I am a beginner quilter and I am enjoying your videos (old and new) so much!! I have three of your rulers and they have become my "go to" rulers in the learning process. I can't always watch you live, but I look forward to seeing the next publication and please keep up the great work!!
Great topic that I really felt was helpful!
Thank you for the wonderful information about the different threads and their application.
Have watched this a few times, and also watched with a friend. Such good information -- and so very clearly explained. Can't thank you enough!!! :)
Great information on threads. I'm sure this will be helpful in my quest to become a better quilter.
I purchased the kit for the ruler challenge and absolutely love the Glide thread. I know what’s on my Christmas list now.
Congratulations Jennifer!
I love aurifil thread especially for piecing because even though it is 50 weight it acts more like 60 weight because it is 2 ply. Your live chats are so informative. I always learn something new! Thank you Angela.
Super great info. Thank you.
Such a timely topic for me THANK YOU. I’ve been quilting for years but since the pandemic I’m taking my time to learn new techniques and with them come thread challenges so I’ve been experimenting with new threads and needles. I love your sense of humor and that you’re an expert who doesn’t take herself too seriously. I’m a fan.
Thanks for all your help. Happy Thanksgiving
Very interesting and informative live chat. Happy Thanksgiving Angela.
Hi, I'm from Goiânia/Goiás/Brazil I really enjoy the chat. Thank you!
Thank you for a very informative class.
Very informative. Thank you
Excellent!!!!!!! I highly recommend watching this video! I have been a quilter for 40 years and seamstress for even more plus majored in Textiles and still learned so much!
I thought we always had to use cotton thread. This is such a great resource Angela thanks I feel this has freed my thinking
This is awesome. I am starting to understand your thread obsession.
Thank you for all the info. Thank you for the link to the printout.
Thank you so much. This was a lot of information to take in. Looks like I will watch again and take notes. And watch again......
I always love your advice~ I will just look right for the orange aurafill! I'm just about to quilt up your All Roads pattern!! I made it bigger and now have quilting anxiety- lol! I've worked so hard on the piecing and don't want to mess it up with my pathetic quilting skills - but in your famous words, "A finished quilt is better than a prefect quilt!" Oh, and pick me! Lol! I can't wait to check out all your new fabrics!! Way to go-! Thanks for sharing your creativity with the world!
So much good info! Thank you for this video and I would love one about tension and speed. I am running into needle shredded thread and it is very frustrating.
