All About The Feast of Tabernacles - Sukkot - Jim Staley 2023

Ойын-сауық

The Feast of Sukkot, better known as the Feast of Tabernacles. What is it? Where did it come from? And how does it apply to us today as believers in Jesus/Yeshua? This eight-day holiday is many people’s favorite. It’s a time of celebration, remembrance, feasting, and extended fellowship. Where traditional, modern-day Christians get excited about celebrating a single holiday or two during the year, early believers were accustomed to celebrating seven holidays consisting of almost twenty days of unparalleled joy, feasting, remembrance, and reflection toward the King of kings and Lord of lords. This is a feast with prophetic power and points to the Second Coming of the Messiah.

It is refreshing and inspirational to hear someone that has zeal and knowledge of the scriptures and believes in the true presentation of God's Holy Word. We are grafted in and a vital part of Isreal and should partake of all what God gave them because He chose them to be His people and so are we. Praise His Holy name for all His blessing and mercy to those who believe and thrive on His teaching.

On our way home from an event that we attended 50 miles from our farm. This was supposed to be a feast of tabernacles event and they were even using the words Sukkot and all that on their website and we went to this place today. I had cooked a lot of food to take to the feast and when we got there it turned out to be, for lack of a better term and I’m just desperate to try to describe it accurately, it was almost like a Binney Ken Penecostal tent revival meeting with no music and numerous guest speakers who didn’t know the first thing about the feast of tabernacles and they made everybody to wait till like 8 o’clock at night to eat food that they had catered in. I had brought all kinds of food that I had made at my house in mass quantities and they all just looked at me like I was crazy when I showed up with all this food for this wonderful feast. We were completely and totally in shock as we left after we ate and there was a guy that got up on the stage and started acting like Pat Robertson saying that he was a prophet and pointing out people in the audience and making statements about how God was going to use them and just all kinds of things it was absolute madness. Heading back out to the farm to go spend the rest of the feast with my animals and my husband who was also in extreme shock. We did meet an elderly couple who had been members of the worldwide Church of God and they also stated they had never seen a Feast where people did not bring food and the food was catered in, this had to of cost at least $3000 to cater in all these food on a high Sabbath forcing other people to work on a high Sabbath to prepare the food and deliver it. Absolutely shocking at what the people in our country have really become. Had they broken out a bong and started smoking pot it would not have surprised us.

It sounds like Hoshana Rabbah correlates with Yeshua's entrance to Jerusalem on the donkey during Passover | Pesach, and the people waved offerings of honor with Palms just as with the lulav. Tremendous parallels!!! 🕊 🕊 🕊 Thank you for this teaching.

The flute for the water libation ceremony was called the pierced one and the water or yeshua went with the pierced one, that detail was kinda missed, but everything else was pretty complete. As each of the party reached their respective gates, a trumpet (shofar) was blown. Then one man would stand up and play the flute (the flute represents the Messiah). The flute player is called "the pierced one." The flute is pierced, and Yeshua was pierced during the crucifixion (Psalm [Tehillim] 22:16; Zechariah 12:10; John [Yochanan] 19:34-37; Revelation 1:7). The flute player led the procession.

As far as I can see, Ezra 3:4 doesn't tell us that the 2nd temple was dedicated during Sukkot - see Ezra 3:6. Ezra 6:15-19 seems to suggest it was the month of Adar prior to passover.

Excellent explanation, I see in the Hebrew text in Zechariah 14 v 16 it says YEHOVAH Tzvaot then YAH YEHOVAH later on. Then another question, how come you still stick to the 200 year old Yahweh when there are ovwr 2000 ancient Hebrew texts with the vowel pointings YEHOVAH? Not one example has been found for Yahweh.

Using the 21 century edition of the strongest strong’s concordance, the Father Speaks in his little words. Anyone/Everyone can and will verify this, taking the first time used Hebrew words and verses with the root word, we will be shown what the Father really is saying. From the very beginning. The first commandment was oral, Genesis 1:28, he knew he was in the image of God, and not an animal. No fornication, man’s seed was holy. The Seventh day Sanctified, time for Joy, Worship,Peace. Abel was the first one to shed Blood. Instead of preserving life. God only Kills The little words will open the eyes of all believers in King Jesus. We will sing New songs: All the first fruits of the Holy Spirit will hear and know God.

Some just.like coming.up with excuses. Some comment was about not able "everyone" is going to be able to go or fit into some Temple for the " great multide" to gather for Feast of Tabernacles. LoL. They know NOT the scriptures ( accurately) not the POWER ( of an almighty GOD) Firstly only those that are appointed as "Ambassadors" at heavenly Marriage Supper. (no not everyone on the earth as mortals) Some Pastors scoff and mock at this too. LoL They think more highly of themselves than they ought to. And iThrcFrast is for several days too. No.whete does it say they should all be in Jerusalem on the same day.

@0:50-1:01 The ‘ancient Hebrew customs’ - of when? Of before, the ‘customs’ were written down in the Old Testament, or of when these supposed ‘customs’ happened and afterwards were written down in the Old Testament? Just who, are the ‘ancient Hebrews’ you’re talking about? The Israelites and ‘what they did’? Or AD Jews, POST NT, and how THEY, allegedly ‘affected the New Testament’? ‘AFFECTED THE NEW TESTAMENT’? Really?

Sookah does not mean a "booth", but was a DESERT DWELLING HUT. It was not a tent, Hebrew:"OHEL"! Both the word "tabernacle", and "booth" do NOT represent the modern English understanding of this Jewish matter.

Shabbat Shalom and Happy Feast of Tabernacles I encourage you Rev to look up the Etymology of the word “rapture”. People have already been raptured. In fact, children are raptured everyday. Also, the events that are suppose to take place which has been taught to us in church is nowhere in the Bible. There was no mention of the whole rapture theory before the 1700s. Also, the Messiah said the last days will be like the days of Noah. Those outside the ark (covenant) were TAKEN. Those inside the ark (covenant) were LEFT ON EARTH. Even in Matthew 13:24-30; 36-43, those gathered first are thrown in the fire. Both of these events are opposite to the events of the rapture theory. The rapture that most people believe in is never going to happen. And I’m trying to be genuine while saying. YAH bless!

Pardon me but Zechariah 14 can't be talking about the millennium because that period will be spent in heaven and according to 2 Thessalonians 2;7-10 and 2 peter 3:10 there will be no life on earth during this time. Those left behind will be destroyed with the brightness of his coming and the earth will be burned up. Rev.20:5 speaking of those who were left, after the 1000 years they'll rise for judgment before going to the lake of fire. Then we'll have a new restored earth forever.

@1:25 Stop! Have you not, correctly, stated right from the start, that Sukkot was ? But here now, seconds later, you assert the ‘spring feast days’ and ‘the fall feast days’ - including Sukkot, - Your ‘two categories’ theory right from the start does not work and never will because it’s all SPIN!

We understand how you feel, however I wanna ask you, how do you explain Matthew 24:9-13? " “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." Tribulation is not bad. Tribulation, according to James is supposed to be joy for us. The wrath of God, that's another story, we won't go through that. Different things. Blessings to you. Gerdfran, PFT
