in all the learnings, i have literally forgotten using circle of fifths to check the possibilities for determining my chord progressions for composing. using it by ear is best and going by the tonal colour and the emotion is good too, but i had totally forgotten using this as well to see how it sounds while writing new stuff.

At the end, when you talk about viewing the scales as chords, do you mean e flat major I (in roman number notation)?

Hi, thank you very much for your videos! They are very helpful! Do you suggest to get full range midi controller with 88 keys? I didn't see this example in your guide. What do you think about Alesis q88 mkii? Is it suitable for the purpose you describe in your guide?

I don't have any experience with the Alesis q88 mkii, but I would suggest a 61 key controller would be fine. I've had an 88 Key (Yamaha KX88) for years - I've tried going smaller, but I'm so used to it, anything else feels strange!

@@composingacademy8270 thank you for your answer! I just wondered, how to use all note range in rejected keyboard? It should be uncomfortable.

The mirror of 5ths/4ths decoding the circle after 300+ years and its universal mnemonic device is an alternative to the circle of 5ths for those who will find the latter a bit hard to memorize.
