I made a similar thing for when we travel, but I used very small glass jars with corks that we can wear (or hang in our cars!). I wasn’t sure if a bag of herbs would make it through tsa, but they didn’t seem to care at all about the little jars.

If you don't know if a fabric is a natural fiber, you can cut off a piece, and light it on fire (in a safe area to burn things). If it bubbles and melts, it's probably got plastic or nylon in it. If it burns, it's natural.

Thank you for this video! As a beginner witch, I really enjoy things like this that can be easily built off of (and it was fun to follow along in the book as well!) I do have a question: would you consider doing a video on what plants you would recommend for a medicinal/magickal herb garden? I’m in the process of planning out this year’s garden and I’m going to devote part of my garden to a witchy herb garden!

My grandfather, whom I didn't get to know well, would prepare little bags of herbs that he would have his four children wear around their necks at the beginning of each of the four seasons. I was told that the purpose was to align their bodies with the changes the new season would bring. Whoever knew my grandfather was a witch.

I don’t think of your book as “witchcraft”. It’s more in the spiritual vein for me. Witches can use it, sure. But so can Christians. Really, any religion can use it. It’s just plain goodness, like you are.

This is awesome to see! I am of the personal belief that witchcraft is available to everyone, regardless of religion. You should look into the Christian Witchcraft that used to exist because I find it quite interesting.

What exactly is the scam here? She's not selling them as a product or anything. Whether you make one of these is completely up to you. Even if you don't "believe" in magic, there are plenty of psychological studies about the calming effects talismans and amulets as related to the placebo effect, and at the very least if carried on your body you will get some of the aromatherapeutic properties of the herbs. This is just a fun simple activity for those who are into magic to do. If you're not into it, it's not for you. She made no guarantees here.
