Here's my thought process behind my new siding STYLE, COLOR, and MATERIAL. When I bought my abandoned house, the cedar plank siding was splintering off in strips. The south-western facing side of the house was subject to so much weather that the planks were just barely hanging on. I knew the siding needed to be removed and then had to figure out what to replace it with.
