All of those gems are beautiful. I own a very small piece of Tanzanite and 2 Ametrines I bought from JTV years ago. Even though the tanzanite is small, the deep blue purple color with the reddish hue inside is just gorgeous. I don't know how to post emojis here but I send you all endless purple hearts as purple is my favorite color.

I've found tiny ametrine here in Thunder Bay. Very small, and extremely rare, but I know I've seen it here.
You didn't mention my favorite purple gemstone, purple Garnets! Second and third are spinels and sapphires
My favorite was the Sugilite💜💜💜💜💜💜
Shelly's ametrine is incredible! said "wow" out loud to myself when she held it up, i really like the unusual cut and the colour is fantastic. i really like that shot of the tanzanite at 11:58 - looks less like a gem and more like some kind of weirdo translucent purple-tinted chromium; very cool. thanks for coming on Shelly! 💜💜💜
Purple is my favorite color! This video feels like a feast to me💖💖
You forgot to mention purple grape garnet from manica, Mozambique. It's a really exceptional rhodolite that looks like amethyst and has only been discovered in the last decade.
Fantastic two gems talking and showing magnificent stones and awesome knowledge beautiful colours thank you
This video is fantastic! Always great to see Shelly, and absolutely LOVE the lavender jade piece featured! Also. For the multiple commenters claiming they mispronounced “sugilite” - Natalie and Shelly are experts in this industry and they are definitely pronouncing it correctly.
Beautiful purple gems. Why amethyst is one of my top five favorite gemstones and purple is my favorite color also blue too.💎💙Great video. 🤩😍💜💜💎💜💜

One of the rarest colors in gemstone world! 💜💜💜
Amethyst is my favourite stone...I have a 1930s stone deep velvety colour..
1:07 Charoite is classified as a Rock. It can be a mixture of up to 4 different Minerals all identifiable by Color... Purple: Charoite Black: Aegirine Yellow: Canasite Orange: Tinaksite.
Purple has always been my favorite color, and people used to give me amethyst gifts, but I got *bored* with amethyst. And then at a gem&mineral show I saw charoite. I asked the seller what the "mystical properties" of charoite, and they told me "it's for the spiritually responsible use of technology" - which made me laugh, because I was a radio technician at the time. I have a few really nice charoite pieces. I discovered that it comes from a particular mineral formation that comes close to the surface of the Earth in two places, one in Russia and one in the Ukraine, which is why it's so rare. Maybe someday I'll be able to get some taffeite or tanzanite or iolite. But those deep violet gem-grade amethysts are lovely!

Charoite is also a stone for the 3rd eye!

@@isiriscasiano3719 That explains a lot!
7:26 The best way to check if a stone is Amethyst is using a Polariscope. Using it, look for Interference Colors and use a Optic Figure Glass wand to look for an Optic Figure. Typically, Amethyst will show a Bull's Eye Optic Figure. A Bull's Eye Optic Figure and an Airy's Sprial Optic Figure(Which is more rare and looks like a Swastika) are UNIQUE to Quartz, and AUTOMATICALLY identify something is Quartz.
6:59 Almost all Tanzanite is heat treated. It normally comes out of the ground BROWN in color. It is so common to heat Tanzanite, it is not required to list as a Treatment.
Lavender Jade❤️
I have a 12ct ametrine that is gold and royal blue. It is stunning.
i miss natalie so much
I love this proghram. And talk obout black daimend.
I would love to have taaffeit. It is soooooo expensive.

It's spelled, "Taaffeite" and it's quite rare.
There’s a ton of Charoite jewelry available in some of the shops in Lawrence, KS. Sugilite and am Ametrine are also available there as well.
I love amythest and Tanzanite stones. I own several beautiful Amythest & Tanzanite rings... I like this video alot...👍
I enjoy wearing my charoite and amethyst together..fun show💜💜

Shelly's a seller, she's really good at talking about her stuff :P
I have never seen charoite beads, but I'd love some.
7:26 If Amethyst is naturally or artificially to 932 degrees, it turns green and is then called Prasiolite.
Thank You!!! I will type in "Purple Moji"
💜💜💜💜💜 I have a polished Ametrine!!!
Thank you for sharing the information. 💜
Yaaaaaaaay Natalie is back.
Thank you for the amazing video 💜💜💜
You should do a video on blue gemstones, and talk about why blue as color is so rare in nature

@@gems Thanks for the videos, you folks are sure on the ball.!! Looking forward to learning more about gemstones in the future, meanwhile I have to binge watch all the back episodes 🤩
Do you ever go to the Franklin NC gem show? It's starting tomorrow and I'm super excited.
! I don't have time to watch this just yet, but I'm excited about it! I love purple gemstones! All right. Until soon, then.
Lol I live in Thunder Bay, so you can't kick over 3 rocks here without 2 of them being purple!
What is translucent dark purple raw like Brazilian Amethyst with a metallic lustre like hematite?
I was rock hounding along the highway on the Oregon/Washington border and found chunks of basalt with vugs of a brown crystal. I have wanted to know what it was for the longest! I know Washington has zoisite in different forms so could it be zoisite?
Would love to find some!
I found serendibite here in jamaica
I saw some really glossy stichtite in the core at that huge chromite deposit up by James Bay
💜 from Malaysian Chinese
Wait wich part of Mexico is Morado opal because i am currently living in Mexico
*This has nothing to do with any purple gemstones but my garnet ring That I got for my birthday recently got shattered and I’m pretty sad about it...*
💜💜💜💜💜
There's a TV show on the Weather Channel showing people mining in the far north for jade, and they're funded by a CHinese company.
I got a purple diamond, maybe more lavender.
💜
I am a gem cutter 😊.
how much is it tansanite?
I wonder if there is anything such as blue jade?

Neither blue agate or jadite is natural.
What a great show, but it'd do great if you got a better lightning. What you've got set up doesn't do these gems justice, less diffused light and more direct one.
I have found a musgrovite that weights 5 grams.

Not all are color change. Some fluorites and garnets are color change too. Can't think of any others do but there are probably more.
That's how your meant to pronounce sugilite?? it sounds weird

I haven't watched in a while, when did Betsy DeVos start here? LOL!

You’d think professional gem people would know how to pronounce Sugilite 🤦♂️ Let’s give KenIchi Sugi and Sugilite some respect
