I love him and I have a Female 2 years so I know how protective they are. He was standing his ground. (a law in Fl.) We post our property but have a fence so no one can just walk u to our house. And that is what a partner dog does, protect his master and his territory ! My husband thinks Malinois are smarter than a lot of folks he knows. Incredible intelligence and they LOVE commands and to be put to work! But just like people they require t i m e with them.

I had a pair of Labrador for 14 years and a German Shepperd for 1 year and now I am thinking of a Belgian Malinois but I am a little bit intimidated by the energy of the BM, after watching some of your video I am getting more convince that I want a BM. You are very fortunate to have such a very intelligent/helpful/loving BM companion and it is very inspirational to see how you make them a part of your daily life.

Whiskey is so handsome, I did no realize that was such a big boy. I did see him figure out the ice tray… awesome. And of course he does not have a flight switch he’s a malinos. Happy birthday Whiskey.

Happy birthday Whiskey! Many happy returns! I did wonder about his size. Just get him tailor made vests and what not. Archers often make their equipment themselves it's just a question of having the right tools and the time. Irish wolfhounds and Malamute huskies and Anatolian shepherd dogs are also very large, Haatchi (an Anatolian shepherd dog who had had to have one of hind legs and his tails amputated after being run over by a train when he was 6 months old. He'd been tied up to the track) had a custom made walking harness, as he loved walkies and had loads of energy to burn off, but his remaining hind leg could not take the weight of his huge body.

I just love watching you & your puppy's . I also have a large malinois, 16 months, he weights 99.5 lbs

I love watching dogs eat, the family next door to me have a female German Shepard, when she was a puppy she'd could fit through our dividing fence and I'd give her some chicken, she's now fully grown and sadly doesn't fit through the fence anymore but the 2nd I appear in the garden she's comes over 2 say hello, after saying hello she brings over her ball and drops it over as she loves chasing her ball, she's such a beautiful dog.

He is an awesome dog. I luv the new pup as well.

Thank you!! Actually Malinois are smaller dogs. Males aren’t supposed to be over 80 pounds. I guess I just got lucky!

That was a great video, Thank You! My last Malanois was 85 lbs & I thought he was big. I couldn’t mow the lawn with him outside because he would raise hell & grab the front wheel of the push mower & play tug of war with it, while it was running. No fear as well! Loved your answers, particularly to the apartment question. People don't understand that the problem with certain breeds is not the space, apartment or house. It's the time that you need to dedicate to the dog, your level of commitment. You can have a Mali at an apartment, if you spend the necessary time outside with him "working"/training/playing and if you can do the needed equivalent in the apartment so the dog understands what is expected from him inside. Also, I like the expression "calm like a Malinois", I think it suits nice in Whiskey.

I worked for two apartment complexes and as far as corporate owned- it is most definitely the breed. Larger dogs, Pit Bull, Rotts, Cane Corso, Dobie, German Sheppard ... protective dogs in apartment and communities not a good fit for obvious reasons, even for the most well trained.

Hi there! I have a GSD Service Dog. She is HUGE at ~100 lbs NOTHING fit. A retired SF buddy of mine put me in touch with a small Canadian company that makes custom vest for military, law enforcement, and all kinds of dogs, even ballistic armor if needed. They make the jump vests the SEALS Malinois use (which are like $4K, ours was like $350. Not bad for something she works in daily). The quality was impeccable and the folks were incredible to work with. Check em out, I promise, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.

He is a big boy for a Malinois, people say mine is big at just over 90lbs.

I now have a Malinois-Husky cross (mom is Siberian and Samoyed). She is awesome and I want to learn how you trained them. Also, Recipe Book?

Nice MAL I have a MAL X and she is 7 months 70 pounds and I have raised and bread pit,chow,and bermeisse mountain dog but this is the best of all bermeisse are large and calm dogs.u just have to put a lot more time in with MAL if your not a physical person that's always On The move don't get a mal she will turn into a maligator.😂

My male Mal Zeke, is a 100lb-er. I get his gear at Ray Allen K9.

I am amazed on how intelligent Whiskey is. I am obsessed with watching your videos, because we have a 2 1/2 year old Mailinois, and I am deeply in love with her, she s like my daughter. The only downside is that all I do is worry about her. Will something bad happen to her, will I loose her. She s about the size of Freedom, and she s smart, but not like Whiskey, you are so blessed! After our dog was vaccinated, she definitely has more health issues, so everyday is a challenge. But I truly feel Malinois are the best dogs ever!

Could you give your Breeders information? Also is he Mixed with German Shepherd?

There’s nothing you can do. It’s DNA. Whatever size your dog is meant to be is what he or she will be.

I believe the terrible twos with a dog is around 6 months to 2 years old! So I think we are finally passed it. Now on to the hormonal phase🤣🤣🤣

Oh how I wish she was with us. We had to say “see you on the other side” not to long ago unfortunately. So Karma is now our guardian from above.

I have 2 Female's mutl colors brendals Belgium Mel Rock yes it's a tag team affair. If the are dumb an try to do harm they will learn the hard way.

I do not like animals in the kitchen around food nor do I like them begging.

Someone threaten my property, my dog, he barks once (130# Akita wolf), I grab gun to shoot. Could be mountain lion, Coyote, Bear or intruder. Dead!

Whiskey is great & large for mally. COVID took care of "Willey" 12-14 hours a day, his owner national security man, needed help with Willey taking care of, solid 95# pup, barely year old. Trained pup doing tricks climbing my property 9,000 ft mountains. Will unsubscribe, feel this was set up click bait title. Something just tells me you baited views...

Cops trespassed him after he said he lost his phone in my front yard and he said I shot my guns at him. This guy frequents the drug house down the street and was high as a kite when he knocked on my door. The very next day my husband fenced off the front yard so now no one can knock on my door! No need to show whole video of guy as nothing exciting happened.

@@neucounty Also glad you do exercise your gun rights, were I live rural property the make my day law is applicable since cops are far away worthless. Close my gate, anyone comes thru it shows aggressive and can shoot, guy was high on drugs shot him dead on property. Also it keeps cops out without warrant since I've been harassed by.
