You said that you don't talk much about your health problems, but if one day you decide to do a video like that, me and I know that many of your viewers would greatly appreciate it! Since getting covid in 2021 I've been dealing with chronic illness and pain and often living with all of it becomes too much and dark thoughts are frequent visitors. So I do really appreciate when people talk about their own struggles, it gives me strength to keep going.

For the knitting thing, you can get yarn bowls with lids so they can't get at the yarn while you're working on it. I also put my yarn and work into a container with a lid, so my cat couldn't eat it 😂

emily has said on a couple other videos that she was trying to rehome mama p due to how much she hates the kitties so maybe she has rehomed her already and is waiting to see if it sticks before she lets us know

I love all the cat content!! and my cats were captivated watching this with me! they normally aren't too interested by anything on TV but they were OBSESSED watching this with me 😂

I shut my door at night too with my cats! I would not be able to get sleep if they had access to the room. They would keep me up all hours of the night by running around or meowing in my face. My cat, Sushi, also likes to lay on me at night, and I cannot stand that lol. I need to toss and turn! There is no shame on closing the door to your cats at night. 😂

I have a 9 month old cat who gets into everything. Yes, a toddler! It surprised me that cats are not extinct because they are always trying to ---- themselves like you said! My cat was always interested in my bathtub while I am in it. I was taking a bath once, letting it fill up while I was in it soaping up. I had no idea Rusty was in the bathroom with me. I was leaning forward and my cat, 6 months old at the time fell in behind me! He panicked and took a good 5 seconds before he could get out. Water everywhere! Poor baby. The water was shallow and warm, not hot, and I didn't have any products in the water so he just got a good soaking. He hasn't been in the bathroom since.

I would be very interested in cat merch! We raised three kittens that we found when they were three weeks old, my husband found them at work. We had over 15 years of cat entertainment and I miss them tremendously Your kitty family is adorable-enjoy!

Thank you for sharing! I have an all-black kitten who is about a month younger than your kittens and I know exactly what you are going through. He and his "brother" are keeping me on my toes!! Since you are sharing "game changers" (robot vac) I have one for you, please invest in a litter robot, you will not go back to traditional litter boxes. We have two for four cats and it has been a HUGE game changer here. We go through less litter and cleanup is quick and easy. Yes, they are pricey.... but will pay for itself in no time! Thanks again for the very special Christmas present!!

I have 3 cats as well AND I'm a knitter and crocheter! When they are a little older and a bit more calm you can totally do it. I've only had one incident with them eating yarn and that was when I was blocking an item and my youngest decided to eat some of the leftover yarn dangling from it... I've trained mine to leave the yarn alone and they honestly do. As long as they have enough of their "own" stuff they tend to leave your stuff alone when they know its yours. Cats love boundaries and if you respect theirs they will respect yours too ❤

Call your vet again. I hate to say it but they probably lost the results or never got them back. I work for a vet and the longest you should have had to wait for results would have been about a month. I live on the east coast and the longest we have had to wait would be about a month and that's because we have had to send something to Ontario.

For anyone who's wondering, Emily previously mentioned that Pear(mama cat) has to be re-homed because she doesn't get along with her babies. She hisses and growls at them. Mama and babies can't be in the same room together. Hopefully , Pear will be placed in a wonderful forever home, where she can continue to thrive ❤ 🙂.

The cats are precious, i have 1 cat, her name is Baymax and she is nearly 9 years old and still a terror. I think its because she's a tortoiseshell and they have so much attitude!! We think about getting a second cat but I'm not sure how Baymax would deal, she's never been around another cat.

Omg the toilet story! I unfortunately had a similar mishap when I was about 6 or 7 years old. We were all getting ready for fancy Christmas family pictures so I was dressed to the nines in my tights and fluffy dress and my mom and aunt were getting ready in the bathroom and I wanted to be with them so I sat down on the toilet not realizing that the seat was not down like it usually was so I very nearly ruined my entire outfit in toilet water. I got very lucky and my mom pulled me up quick enough that I didnt get wet at all but it was close. I did learn my lesson though 😂

Glad you were able to get insurance while they were young. In my experience, insurance did absolutely nothing to help me out with my older cats. In the future, if they're not babies, I won't bother

it's very siamese of Charlie to only have two modes and not much in between and to and eat things he shouldn't. I have one cat that's siamese and one that isn't and my non-siamese is always the same disposition and never gets into anything, but my siamese is either asleep or a devil. He also likes to eat anything you can recycle. Chunky's pink tongue in that picture is so cute.

Chicken is absolutely so good for them, though! (Without bones, obvs.) Cats are obligate carnivores, so supplementing their processed (ew!) diet with real meat is what their bodies need. I always make a little extra of whatever meat I’m eating for my cats.

They mostly eat wet food so they definitely get plenty of meat. My fear is if she gets too used to getting real chicken, I’ll accidentally give her some with spices that would be bad for her!

Have you considered getting a Litter Robot? I think they’ve gotten more affordable and I’ve heard it really helps with kitty poop odor and also you only have to deal with it once a week! 😂
