I don’t know if this is the same thing that we actually do in Brazil or if it is just the name. But the real Brazilian product is not a treatment, it is a chemical product to get the hair straight. They usually use formaldehyde to get the hair straightened and shining. It can damage the hair if it’s done very often. Anyways, your hair looks gorgeous. 😊
Your hair looks absolutely great. I want to try it with my hair as well ☺
Phew, my mom is doing the RIGHT thing to my hair. I do like getting the $200 bottle one. I only get it once a year since it’s super exspensive. But, it does burn..
I loved the result, as i'm brazilian this is my favorite hair treatment here.

I know this is old. But, it cut ur blow dry time for 2 reasons 1 ur cuticle is more open despite common belief that its sealed. 2 when u have a curl pattern it prohibits the heat hitting it at all angles.
ur hair is so pretty
I did protein before and my hair is falling too much and I’m afraid now
The treatment will not damage your hair, But if not done correctly the person doing the treatment can burn / damage your hair. Make sure you are going to a stylist that is a specialist in Smoothing Treatments 👍🏻

Thank god for this video lol I want to do one here where I love. My older sister did it and she loved it but I just wanted more testimonials. Definitely gonna do this because my hair is like that as well and so frizzy and annoying to styles so I just always have it in a low bun /:
Some ppl say u can leave it to air dry it nd then it looks perfectly straight
I'm booked for that treatment can't wait
Thanks for this info! I have frizzy hair too (and super thick/course) and I am going to Europe in a few Months and I don’t want to have to worry about getting a converter for my flat iron so I think this is the way to go to be able to have my hair air dry and still look nice!
Looks so good!
Is the chemical smell really strong when you get the treatment? They use formaldehyde which is actually pretty toxic.

I love the Brazilian Blowout keratin treatment!!! I've had the Goldwell and Coppolla and like this soooooo much more! I pay 350. You can use any sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. My blow dry time went from 40 minutes to 7 minutes with the Dyson blow dryer. It leaves your hair with body and I never need to flatiron. Also my hair is growing faster.

How is your hair in humidity after the blowout?
What is the difference between keratin and Brazilian because I got a Brazilian and it gave me anxiety the smell and how straight my hair was. Also the stylist told me the treatments are alike which isn't true.
Thanks for the review. Since you got both the keratin and Brazilian treatments, which one would you go back for once this treatment fades?? I got a keratin treatment done before which has now faded, and now I am debating the Brazilian.

I have SUPER thick curly hair and I'm really thinking about getting this done. When they did, it actually stripped my hair of color. It turned like an ashy greyish brown. I cried so many times but had to eventually turn to a bottle to be able to get even close to my original. My hair now is a little darker rich brown with copper and red tints to it. In the sun it looks the red and copper come out to make it look like fire glow. it's beautiful but some part of me misses my original natural color.

Japanese straitening is better. I'm a 4A hair type, being biracial, and after the Japanese straightening, every time I washed my hair I literally did not have to do anything to it, but just let it air dry naturally, and it would be just completely straight, like Asian woman type of straight and really shiny too. That actually blew my mind being that I have African descent hair, again 4A _we're talking really tight curl pattern, and very dry too in my case! I know that you just wanted to loosen your curls and not have it totally straight, but still I'm not convinced by this at all. Thanks for the video though, this was very informative. And your hair looks lovely by the way, and very healthy, just not the effect that I'm looking for.
