Tks for another great video! I like to take a small portion of a larger product and make it free, so hopefully people will come back and purchase the whole resource. It also makes it easier for me because I’m repurposing something I’ve already made anyways.

I do the same thing. I make activity guides for chapter books, and I make chapter 1 free so teachers can check it out before buying it.

I typically like to do the first product in a product line to be free. I have alphabet product lines and my letter A's are always free. I just made a number based product line and made the number zero free!

I love that it's always consistent! And at the beginning, so they like it and come back for more. Such a good idea!

Someone said that if you offer free products. You really don't want them to buy?

Can you upload something for free for like a week and then make it into a paid product?

Hi Becca, I have been watching a lot of your videos as I am about to launch my TPT store! I wanted to get your opinion on my first "free" product. I made a slide deck with 8minute or so warm up for each day M/F - Quick Write Prompts, T/TH - Word Part, and W - Allusions. There are 4 weeks worth of them in total and is about 75 slides. Is this too large for my first free product? Should I maybe do like create just a 1 week one and then upload full month as my first paid product? Hoping you could give me your opinion! Thanks =)

Hi! I would definitely just give one week away for free. That’s a lot for a free product

I have a bundle. The first product is really short and I probably should have made it a free product. Is it too late to change it to a free product? Will the 4 people who have already paid for it be upset?

Nope! The chances that they are going to go back and look at it are slim to none
