@@morganestergaard3651 I'm doing good since my surgery. I'm already looking at a revision but I do see a difference when I take pictures. My left ear had more work done to it and I feel a cramp feeling like if my ear wants to pop back to its original form. My right ear is what I want mork work to be done to. I have more numbness feeling in my left ear I guess because I had more done to it than my right one. I don't see my doctor til January 7th. She's a cutie too bad she's married.

@@aynisantillan9769 I'm happy with the results 2 years after. Get the surgery at the resident clinic of plastic surgery in Northwestern Hospital. On the 19th floor. Ask the surgeon that you would like it done in the procedure room and they will charge $1500. Thats what I did. My ears did pop back out but not like they were before. I could tell the difference from my before pics. Unlike surgery on the nose, the ears are somewhat resilient and will pop back out. But like I said not how they were before. I still have one free revision to get them redone for free but this year has been tough for me. Maybe next winter I'll do my ears again. I wish I could send you pics of before and after. My only regret is not getting this done when I was young. Wasted my younger years being really shy(still am a little) and self conscious of my ears. But oh well... if you're self conscious about your ears go get them done at Northwestern. You won't regret it. Just keep in mind that the ears will pop back out a little. Also ask the doctor if he or she could over correct them so that they don't pop back out too much. That's what I told my doctor. Dr. Connor is her name. She's not there anymore because they move on after they finish their residency. I love her so much she did an awesome job. Well good luck to you! Go get it done!

Why did you use a model who did NOT need this surgery?! Her ears are shown for two seconds total, but you can go frame-by-frame using your keys. In one she barely touches the surface and does not push them back and it's clear to see that her ears are perfectly normal. In the one where the doctor touches them he is not pushing on them at all, either, which one can tell by comparing to two ear-shots and the relative spaces between folds. Why not just show true Before-and-After photos of real patients?

  • @Taywht

When he mentioned not doing anything that would cause the ears to fold forward due to the stiches, I wonder if he was referring about recovery after surgery or indefinitely? My ears get pulled forward every time I get a haircut.

@@sierramerchant3080 Mine is a fail and what I mean by a fail, its the same as before the surgery except now I have sutures that hurt on my left year. I seen a lot of people where they keep them awake which I guess you are right, it does mean the surgeon is comfortable. Mine told me I had to go to sleep. I knew my results were bad from the day they removed the wraps bc you are supposed to see instant results other than the swelling. Mine told me it will change within time and I knew it was bs because many videos on YT showed results within 2-3 weeks. Guess what, I see him 4 months later, and nothing changes and he tell me he can "try" to fix it. I kept the wrap for a week, I had almost no pain after the surgery but the only pain was trying to sleep which I wasn't getting any bc I was struggling to keep my head in a position where it won't affect my ears. As long as you went with someone with good experience and has done at least few this year, you should be good. Good luck

@@tickitsneso2903 damn that sucks. Yeah mine went well they aren't anything like they were before. I wouldn't advise letting the same Dr. "Try" and fix them. My doctor said he has fixed many others habe botched though. So maybe a better surgeon would be benneificial to you

Like Dr. C said in the video, I had the head wrap on after the surgery until the next day. I took a quick body shower the day after surgery making sure I didn’t get my head wrap wet, but did take a body shower and it was fine. The next day after surgery, the headwear was removed, my dr shows me how to clean my ears with hydrogen peroxide and antibiotic ointment and then placed a compressive head band. I’m supposed to wear it everyday specially at night time so I don’t accidentally pull my ears forward when I sleep. Sleeping is the worst, i usually sleep on my side and since I’ve had surgery I can’t sleep on my side. Sleeping on back has been alittle uncomfortable for me… but I don’t wanna do anything to jeopardize my healing. Little painful but tolerable. I love my new ears even though there so purple and swollen right now. But you can definitely tell how pinned they are right after surgery. I don’t look like myself anymore lol
