Hello Sir Sherwin, I want to ask some questions, do the Celta Tutors/Teachers teach you how to teach to other students or do they just let you teach whether you have experience in teaching or not? And do you have to be C1 in English to apply for Celta? And if its okay to apply without college degree. I am glad to find your youtube videos and I will watch more of yours, other Celta youtubers always say how hard taking Celta is and It intimidate me. I subscribed to channel btw. Have a nice day

They are available everywhere, check your local bookstores. You can also purchase online, but I suggest to just borrow from a library.

I believe you mean career. As CELTA certificate holder, you will become a qualified ESL teacher anywhere in the world.

Great Video!! It was very useful considering I'll be taking the course in a few months... I just have a question...since it was formerly known as certificate of English language teaching for adults... are the classes focused on adult students? Do you get to teach adults in the teaching practise or children/teenagers? Congrats on such an achievement!!

Thanks Cristina. The teaching practice duribg the course will be aimed at adults, but the CELTA gives you recognised transferable skills for teaching children and teenagers. In my experience, I taught pre-intermediate (first half) and upper-intermediate (second half) students. It's a great opportunity. Goodluck on your course. Don't forget to have fun while you're at it.

@@cristinatachella9245 I took the full time course, too. I had so much fun. Just my opinion, full time is a lot better than online or part time. You have a lot of time to brush up your knowledge on Grammar and pronunciation symbols. Also, try to get the books I described here and do advance reading, it will be helpful. I wish you all the best.

2 months. After taking CELTA in Sydney, I flew back to Oman. So they just sent it here.

Hello Samaria Dhar. Thanks for your comment. I am not a native speaker myself and I took it successfully. It is actually open to all who are willing to become English teachers. There are blended courses available, but of course nothing compares to full time. I learned so much and had so much fun. Maybe you can wait for a while, places are starting to open up. I recommend full time, face to face setting.

Hello Alexander. Thank you for visiting my channel. Here's what I know. You will be getting 2 certificates upon completion of your CELTA course: provisional certificate (from the centre) and the Cambridge certificate. 1. The location where you studied CELTA is indicated (heading) in the provisional certificate you will get from the centre. In my case, International House Sydney. It even includes the dates you took CELTA. The Cambridge certificate, however does not indicate the location. The heading says Cambridge Assessment English, and indicates your name and the grade you received. 2. About the type of study you did, as per my certificate it does not indicate that I did it face to face (it was prior to COVID-19). I actually do not have any update if they indicate modes of study.
