The "ugly" fish is a blob fish and it only looked that way because it was taken from the depths of the ocean so it couldn't hold its form

@@AbdallahSmash not its final form, more of its regular form when they’re in the water that completely collapses and dies as soon as it’s out of the pressurized depths of the ocean. Its body deforms completely when you depressurize it when you take it out of the water.

Fun fact: Squeakloids sound are actually made the same way as Pikmin sounds are. (Speeding up the normal voice clip then making it more high-pitched.)

I always found Gyroids interesting because there based on Japanese statue figures called Haniwa discovered in the Jo-mon Era some have to believe there was an advance ancient civilization or something.

@@swagcoolio yes they are especially there are 3 statue types like one is a horse, a soldier and a Dogu design either buried or placed in royal tombs to keep the soul bound to earth, there reference in anime and especially other Nintendo games other than animal crossing.

So I found out that the Rain Islands you can visit will also have a fragment and a fully formed Gyroid!

Also, 2 gyroids (not the fragments) can be found on your island in the ground stars 1 day after it rains. I kept changing the date on my switch until I landed on a rain day., I set my time to 9:30 AM, waited a minute, saved the game, closed the game, changed the date to the next day and made sure my time was set to 9:30 AM, started the game up, went through Isabelle’s dialog, made sure it wasn’t raining, then looked for the star holes, and dug them up. You won’t need to spend any Nook Miles.

@@ripples_. yes. I love it when it's the winter season because it snows almost every day or every couple days (atleast in my game) and I love it because I don't use up my watering cans as much. It's not like it matters because I have over 7 million bells thanks to all the crops I've planted and sell every few days. I spoil my villagers with gifts all the time lol. I almost forgot to mention that It took me until 2 or 3 days after Christmas to finish the Gyroid collection when I finally got Brewstoid.

Squeakoids are just the most adorable sound makers, but I also like using clatteroids in the kitchen area I have set up because it sounds like you're washing dishes, lol

Personally my ultimate favorite is Clatteroid as its a simple design with appealing colors.

In New Leaf, I had a whole room in my museum dedicated to just gyroids! I may have to dedicate a room in my house for my collection!

I love everything from sound to design of the Rattloid and Twangoid. The Rattloid is what I would make if I could design my own haniwa(what the gyroids are based on. And Coco too) so it feels like this 1 was made for me lol. The Twangoid looks like a living lantern with a cage for a mouth. I love their sound and rhythm matching to my favorite K.K. songs

Loving these new gyroids all of them are very cute and adorable looking but my favorite one is definitely the Brewstiod

YESS I REMEMBER THEM- I have little figures of them!

I like a lot of the new designs and am sure I'll find a new favourite soon but I have to admit to being a huge fanboi of the Poltergoid family from older games. They were always my signature gyroids to have around the place.

There's another way to get one of them. When I went to the captain's Island, it started to rain in the middle of the song and when I got to the island it was currently raining. There was not only a full-sized gyroid but also a fragment on the island as well.

After what feels like YEARS I got the whistleing one, and I’m in love with it 😍🤩 New goal: I NEED the jingleoid and tockoid 😫 Uhhh I got jingleoid with out even trying lol now I just need tockoid

I grew a blue Jingloid yesterday and gave it to my cutest villager because it fit her style.

Them with a fast song makes it look like they’re having seizures!

I got my first gyroid fragment from someone else. Once I "grew" it I started finding them all over. This was way before Cap'n set up shop on my pier!
