Bless this playlist. The blue coins (along with some of the more obscure shines) are the reason I never bothered to get 100% in this game. This will change now - time to swallow my pride and follow a guide!

i did 100% this game back then without a guide since i didnt had internet and let me tell you it wasnt worth it.. the amount of hours, if not days i spend randomly spraying s*ht in hope of the last blue coins to come out was unreal.

I’m in the exact same boat. Sunshine is the only 3D Mario game I never 100% completed, because some levels shines and coins are just flat out not fun to do or overly complicated to find… so glad there’s an easy to follow guide like this! 🙏

I've been playing SMS since I was eight after waking up from a nine day coma. To this day it is still my favorite game of all time because of when I got it I was in such a difficult situation. I have a lot of knowledge on the game but never attempted 100% completion. So I'm doing it now. Great videos man keep up the good work.

"The remaining blue coins are all available in Gelato 6." Shows episode 8 on the screen. But really, the yoshi egg only appears in episode 6.

I love games that don’t give you hints on secrets like this. It makes it so magical when you stumble upon a blue coin. It has you spraying every window, door and sign in case there’s a blue coin there 😂❤

For the two blue birds I ad to exit out of the level to get the second bird because it didnt show up. Also like innthe video the second bird wont stay on the rope it will just keep circling the area. Honestly hunting down all these blue coins is super fun and the guides have been great. I missed so many on this one that i wouldve never thought i missed.

Idk how tf you're meant to find half of these without a guide but they've been extremely helpful

That's why I used to buy guide books back in the day. This game rewards curiosity, but it also rewards stupidity; some of the shit you have to spray is incredibly random, as if you passed the controller to someone daft and they went "haha water funny" on everything.

I found 27 blue coins in gelato beach. But can't find the other 3 so im using this guide. Thank you

Gelato 4 spraying in the peninsula is the key. It is the last one finally.

Also I'm playing on my switch and I got one of them by killing the only red cataquack on ep 4

I’m still stuck at 29. Got the one in palm tree, the swing, the red cadaquack, the blue cadaquack in the tree, both ones that require yoshi, I remember getting the two blue birds and they aren’t showing up because I did them already I believe, I looked really really hard in the ocean, I found the one underneath the shack and the fruit grinder, and the bird thing in episode 4, I looked pretty thoroughly and I don’t see any more. And it’s definitely not the spray Ms or Xs or Os. And I sprayed the beach religiously. Ugh I can’t fucking find it.

I found it. It was the last cloud in episode 4 that I missed. I didn’t know there was another after the sand bird tilts.

Some of the blue coins you don’t really do a good job explaining how to get them 🙄

The 2 I were missing was the blue birds and I actually sprayed them at first but gave up too easily I guess and moved on.

If you got 239 on gelato beach your really struggling to find it go to ep 6 sand bird is born 🐦 and there should be a red cataquack stomp on it you should be able to get the blue coin

Most of the ones I missed were spraying the sand.

I’m missing a single blue coin & it’s driving me mad lol. For some reason the two blue birds aren’t there at all so I’m thinking that means that I got those two already Edit: found it in the sand near the boats in episode 4, but I swear I checked that same spot like 10 times lol

Best blue coins guide hands down

You weren’t entirely accurate about the blue coin where you rocket from on top of the hut with the beehive. While that is the intended way to get the coin, you can get it by swinging from the wires from on top of the hill and then using the hover nozzle, I actually did this earlier today on the first mission.

Im new to this game. How do i do a triple jump without jumping thrice first. There is no time with that race episode in gelato and triple jumps and spins mite help. Whats the fastest way for me to do it in one move

You have to jump thrice to do a triple jump. As for spin jumps, you have to spin the left joystick a few times and then jump. It takes practice.

How do you nozzle spread spray like that?

For some reason I can't find the yoshi egg in this level. I don't know why. I've unlocked all the power ups, I have plenty of shines and completed all the levels. Perhaps it's a glitch?

I'm having trouble finding the one in the sand. Specifically the one close to those two Nokis (the people with the seashells on their back) I've looked everywhere in that exact spot and nothing is popping up. And I went to episode 4 just like you did in the video. I've went to every spot right close to those two.

The only thing I can determine is you’ve already collected it at some point. I exited out the level and hopped back in and the other shine spots on the beach are no longer there

Try entering again in chaprtyer 6, there are two blue coins.

make sure you enter the same episodes I enter! blue coins move in some episodes. Some are exclusive. The cabana coin should be there but maybe in a different coins slot
