It hurts even more for me because I randomly found a shiny Caterpie in HeartGold. I was about to exit Ilex Forrest and I had repels up. I was a couple steps away, my repel wore off and I decided not to put up a new one for a couple of steps. I was rewarded with a shiny.

True story: The day before the episode featuring shiny Druddigon debuted in the US, I found and caught a shiny Druddigon of my own in Victory Road in X version on my way to class. Needless to say, I was very surprised that happened and was even more surprised that the same shiny Pokémon had a starring role in that weeks episode.

Hi I can't reply to every single comment so just to clarify, the Pokemon the majority of you say I missed are either actually on the list (lol) or not shiny at all. Remember that just because a Pokemon is a different color, doesn't make it shiny. I chose not to include speculated shinies like Giovanni's Persian, the toxicroak crew, and the Jigglypuff because they're most likely just coloring errors with no definitive proof of being shiny ^^ Thanks again for watching guys 😁

When i started to play again pokemon FireRed (my first catch was a shiny Rattata(no resets no nothing)

Ash needs to catch another shiny in my opinion. He's seen 24 since his Noctowl and hasn't caught a single one of the wild ones

I'm glad you made a video of all the shinies in the anime and added the names of the episodes/movies but I doubt that's all of shinies up to XYZ but who knows? More episodes are coming and we might see more shinies before Sun and Moon and we'll be able to make a new video featuring those shinies. Great job man! :)

agreed. I was once up all night playing my new White version. It was 5 AM, I was falling asleep when I ran into a shiny Petilil in the forest. I wasn't sleepy anymore. And I caught it with my last poke ball. I have just one thing to say, Shiny lilligant is beautiful. :)

CookieEliteGaming haha, don't feel alone. I did that with the shiny pichu I hatched in Crystal. My second shiny which I was amazed when I hatched it, which I didn't even know was possible. My first was a shiny venonat which won me the bug catching contest.

Marti 12 shinies didnt exist in gen 1 so that isnt a shiny

I don't get it, the shiny rayquaza and the shiny entei rakou and suicune. they are legendary, so there is only 1 of em. but the rayquaza made another appearance in an other movie of pokemon, don't know which one. but it was green, same goes for entei raikou and suicune, so how is that possible?

I think there actually are multiples of some (though not all) legendaries. For example, there are at least two Lugia, because there were a few episodes in the anime with a baby Lugia and its mother.

It's because the movies are not continuous to anime or other movies(Except for The Sky Warrior and the Jewel of Life which was just a small detail). Say like Ash saw Lugia in Pokemon Movie 2000 and meets it again in Pokemon Movie 18(The Hoopa one), Ash won't say,"Hey I remember meeting you in the Kanto region."

No It Won't You Realize He Makes it to the semi finals where he battles Sawyer which he lost to once during unperfected ash greninja form and he beats the Rivals he lost to once and Alain makes it to the finals where ash battles him and greninja has a stronger ash greninja form which he uses a giant solar flare shruiken which we don't know why

Adding onto this list a bunch of shinies in the new Journey anime: Shiny psyduck, from the kid in the mega golurk raid episode. Shiny celebi, paired with a normal celebi in the got and horace episode. These are all the ones I remember so far as I'm watching it.
