They missed the chance to make a flute out of bamboo. A working flute unlike the horns. I'm also still hoping for the trees to change as well as a firefly type of bug. It doesn't have to be firefly but something similar and they can just call it "solar bug" or "fire bug" or even "star forest bug" and make it very rare

120 features in 1.20 means its Perfectly balanced as all things should be

I was thinking that there was no legitimate way that you were going to get to 120, but once you start adding it all up it really puts it into perspective how big the update actually is. I'm pretty happy with where the update ended up and I am looking forward to exploring more of my world to try and collect all the Pottery Shards and Smithing Templates.

My favourite feature in 1.20 is the unbelievable fact that they changed the version number from 1.19 to 1.20

I would like to mention that with the addition of camels, two players can ride them at once, and when you are riding them, hostile mobs can not hit you bc you are too high up

Fun fact: in some places in northern England, Dark Oake is written "Durk Urke."

Churry trees are good too, but burmbuo is better

The only real disappointing parts of 1.20 in my opinion are that the seeds you get from Sniffers don't do anything uniquely useful and that you can't use bonemeal to generate more of them, so they're basically just collectable novelties. They really had an opportunity here to introduce interesting new plants to the game but just chose not to do so.

Bamboo wood may not be the prettiest, but it's super convenient -- as long as you can get a crafting table from somewhere to be able to make the Bamboo blocks, it's amazing just how much Wood you can make relatively quickly from Bamboo. Make a large enough farm and, after a few trips, you can have a full inventory of the stuff. Works pretty well if, for some reason, you don't or can't use other wood types as easily.

I love the cherry trees so much, but as someone who really struggles with Minecraft ever since the beginning (I've never naturally made it to the end despite having the game since the early 20-teens) so now what they did to netherite makes it even harder for me, I'm so glad my husband is willing to explain the neither for me lol

This update is the true Wild Update! Soooooooooo… much better than the mild update

Fun fact: Like minecraft bamboo, bamboo is actually a real world exploitable wood that grows fast and can fill lots of gaps in deforestation!

I wish we got green variants of the bamboo planks/ stairs etc. green wood has been needed!

I know this comment is going to be buried, but there's a massive bedrock improvement that no one is talking about in 1.20. The scripting in add-ons is becoming INCREDIBLE and is getting so much closer to being at java modding capability, and this is all cross-platform for every device supporting bedrock. I cannot express enough how big these changes are, I'm way more excited for this than the rest of 1.20 combined.

The fact that we can now crouch under 1.5 blocks is actually game-changing to me. I've always wanted that in Minecraft bedrock as it just made so much sense. I don't think they'll add crawling like how you do with a trap door but the next big thing i want to see in the next update is duel wielding

I love how straightforward and well put together this video was. And the 120 features matching with 1.20 is pretty satisfying.

This was a great reintroduction of all the new features, now I actually understand how the smithing templates and upgrades work! I really liked all the minor details they added just to make each section of information have a theme

Another great parity: Phyllostachys aureosculcata bamboo is cultivated in both Bedrock Colorado and in Java Indonesia.

You can use the pink petals as a good source for making bonemeal with the composter. Since there's a lot of petals on the ground it's basically infinite bonemeal.

Finally, a new way to emulate the British Natural History Museum!!

You didnt mention that signs can also be written on both sides now in 1.20

this video is so sick! thanks for explaining all the features quickly but in detail. the effort put into this video really shows with each sign numbered with the feature. everything just lined to showcase all the features back to back is so nice. not to mention 11/10 commentary, 10:05 i laughed so hard

3:40 I think I will have a stock of cherry blossoms on my explorations, for orientation. I get lost easily, so I can use the first Cherry Blossom placement as a diagonal arrow, the second one placement for "go up in that direction" , 3rd for "go up" and the 4th for go down. Much faster than placing three two blocks on top of each other and a third block in the direction where to go (learnt that in some wilderness survival book)

Wow this the decoration update. Only new gameplay features I saw are the changes to shulk sensors and you can get better horses from breeding.

I love the walkways and tunnels you made for walking around the different themes!

I've seen it before, but: an Ambience Update would be very good for the actual lack of it in the game. As for now, if you travel through a forest, you just listen to your footsteps against the ground, for example. Imagine walking through a forest and listening to the wind between the trees, the birds, or the rumour of bushes. Arriving to a beach and listening to the crash of the waves. Or the deep and misterious sounds and echoes of the caves and their inhabitants. I'd love that.

So this really reminds me what I was younger a few years back playing Minecraft on my Nintendo Switch I remember being so hyped up for 1.16 since I was new to Minecraft. The day it came out me and my friend played it all day. Once he left I made a giant symmetrical wooden base half was crimson the other was warped he loved it and now 3 years later we still have that world 😀

missing so much still, im sure you could do another 120 things. Writing on both sides of the sign, two people camel, all the how to get/breed/find all the new features, but my favorite thing you missed which might be a java thing only - you can re-dye anything that is already dyed!

At first you feel like the update added little to nothing compared to the other updates but this update is pretty good in size.

They should really think about doing an update an tell us very little about it with no snapshots. It would be so cool to have an update we know nothing about and we can find out how to play as we go.
