Small Caveat. You need to do this anyway for more than the 3 chests. Doing this unlocks the "Looking Glass" (mirror) portals, activates them so you can use them. Several chests and Hydroculi are hidden behind these requiring the use of the mirror portals.

probably getting added later with 4.1 together with more paces past 13, so that we can get more chests from it and likely an achievement later too, cause so far those 3 chests are everything you get out of collectign the pages and a task with so much collecting effort usually rewards the player at the end always with an achievement and eventually something unique like some kind of housing item, to let you remember on doing this long task successfully.

the worst one is in inazuma where they require you to fish to obtain toki alley tales pages. i had a counter to see how long it would take me and after 60 fish i only have 3 pages. i was sick of fishing, even if i'm a completionist.

I love Kyostin's "no bullshit" intros where he just shows markers on the map where the items are. I don't want a five minute explanation for each of these, I'll look for those if I can't find it myself, thanks.

The lore is crazy it's so hard to put everything together. Who is writing and who was the head of the ordo is still a mystery.

Huh. So the whole Ann the oceanid and Jakob ingesting Elynas' blood quests were about the original Narzissenkreuz group members attempting to transcend by putting their 'selves' into armored shells. Kinda like the movie Chappie and that underwater horror game Soma. That's rather horrifying to think about

For those who still have no idea what are those pages about. Those pages are written by *"Réne"* who was responsible for many things. He's the person who turned jacob into a monster by feeding the flesh of beast elynas, and did the same with carter but carter instead turned into a chasm mud blob, carter isn't dead but he still talks (tho rene tried cutting his vocal chords but carter grew it within a day or two). He found a way to dissolve himself by construction of a four pillared structure and a tree, he got himself dissolved and ascended into a consciousness. He later fought the marchusse phantom with the help of Jacob, he successfully dissolved alain guillotine's sister ann (mary-ann)and Ann's protector Seymour (the dog from the melusine village) couldn't save her. The enigmatic papers are just a world formula book written by Rene, it doesn't explain much about him or his relationship with Jacob. I went and read all papers and weapon descriptions to explain everything what happened, it'll be long so take your time. It starts with first generation of orphans of narcissuzenkruez Institute named (karl, emanuel guilotine, Basil and dwight) , and narcissuzenkruez Institute itself was built by EGARIA the previous hydro archon and LYRIS being the director (LYRIS Is an oceanid) After they all grew up, Karl became a journalist, Emanuel became a member of marchusse phantom, and Basil became a Navy officer.remember the names it'll all be very confusing without knowing who's who. NOW, the second generation children of narcissuzenkruez Institute (Jacob and rene) was brought after a disaster. THE DISASTER : flueve cendre was a Lawless place, the previous court of Fontaine decided to establish the laws from overworld to it, but a person named *"Eduardo baker"* was against it, resulting multiple battles between marchusse phantom and people of flueve cendre (here baker used the pipe,the current Fontaine fishing weapon).And when Eduardo was finally defeated and arrested, he was rescued by Eduardo's minions and they also kidnapped those gardes who's currently taking him to Fontaine Court. Eduardo later took control over POISSION and it's mayor Renault as hostages.(Rene's actual father who's essentially from petrichor) and Karl the reporter came to talk about eduardo's demands. *JACOB* baker (son of Eduardo baker from flueve cendre) became good friends with rene at that time. The court of Fontaine finally couldn't agree with any demands of Eduardo, and sent Emmanuel and his members of marchusse phantom to fight Eduardo and his minions ,this fight is later called *"siege of Poisson"*. But sadly many people of Poisson were dragged and were killed and burned due to the siege. Parents of both Jacob and rene were died in that siege and Emanuel was broken mentally and physically after that incident.Karl was no longer a reporter after the incident and he turned into an adventurer. BASIL after her retirement with the ship *"SPONSIAN"* , she became the vice director of narcissuzenkruez Institute.she wields the claymore tidal shadow.she brought the now orphans Jacob and rene who met with alain and Mary Ann who were already at the Institute at that time, and they're siblings too. Then the cataclysm struck. THE CATACLYSM PERIOD : to fight with the abyss, Basil met with Karl and Emmanuel, and gave (Jacob and rene) to Karl and (alain and Ann) to Emmanuel to keep them safe. Where she went to kill elynas (it's the name of the beast but also a place), Elynas didn't know that people see it as a monster but it was happy after being defeated that it would no longer seen as a monster. Elynas actually didn't died in that incident, as it Went into a hibernation state, kinda like a cocoon. Basil and her crew were attacked by rifthounds while coming back to Fontaine and her along with all of the crew died and the ship sinked into the waters. Lyris didn't returned back to Institute for long time. Now that Basil and lyris (director and vice director) are gone, the narcissenkreuz Institute was disbanded. After the Institute disbanded, rene and Jacob went to sumeru desert along with Karl (who's now an adventurer) to deal with the cataclysm. In that expedition, three things happened : 1) rene used abyssal power on Jacob to rescue him from malnutrition (it worked) 2) he discovered that the abyss has some sort of will and extraction of that will can help against the cataclysm. 3) rene discovered the world formula, a kind of simulation of the current teyvat.using it rene can predict the future. He came back to Fontaine with Jacob and researched on elynas. Rene started feeding Jacob the flesh of elynas as it shows some reaction with the abyss power inside the Jacob. Rene continue doing this with Jacob and meanwhile went on a search for more information about Jacobs current condition. Under the Emanuel's guidance, alain joined Fontaine Institute of Philosophy and with Dwight's help, Jacob and rene joined the Institute too. Carter later joined the Institute as alain's assistant. Carter was diagnosed with an unknown incurable disease so rene sent the blood samples to sumeru where the akademia can't find out the cure for carter's condition and Carter has no choice to take many leaves in between his work with alain. Jacob become friends with Carter and Carter became friends with Ann. Alain successfully created the arkhe system of pneuma - ousia annihilation reactions, which made other researchers jealous. Rene went out and found *'NARCISSUZENKRUEZ ORDO"* , a secret society that went on researching on stuff like scarlet quartz from dragonspine, chasm ooze. Rene convinced Jacob to prognose Carter with same way as Jacob,since it saved jacob's life. But the actual results were very different. Carter turned into a chasm ooze, although Carter is in a state where he can't move but can do everything including talk. Jacob was scared and crying as he hears Carter voice from time to time (Jacob was very emotional in the descriptions and he's someone who was really a cowardy person). There's no other choice but to cut carter's vocal chords so Jacob won't cry anymore. But as Carter is in ooze state, he can regenerate the vocal chords in a day or two. Seeing what happened to his assistant, alain and Ann cut ties with Jacob and rene. RENE'S PLANS : after running multiple simulations of the future, all that future only leads to one outcome that the waters will all dry up and the what's left will be left in ruins where won't even sunsettia and mint grow. (but again we can see mint in enkanomiya) So with the help of ordo, he found a way to stop it, by building a circle of four orthants and a tree (think of it as a building that rene uses for his method), rene successfully reborn as a consciousness , and took form of Carter. Court of Fontaine got that information and sent few people including Emanuel and 2 others but they were caught by ordo and dissolved. Rene later discovered that a dissolved persons consciousness can be stored in a physical person's organs. Using that info, rene went to alain to ask to make mechanical bodies to these consciousness to make them helpful but alain declined. THE FINAL CONFLICT : as rene continued experimenting on elynas flesh. Marchusse phantom sent many troupes along with Mary Ann for negotiations. Lyris came back and met with the sight in elynas. Marchusse phantom wants to put an end to rene's madness . There in the fight between marchusse phantom and Jacob rene, Mary Ann was dissolved. Seeing the horrible sight, lyris the ocenaid dissolved everyone in the elynas, and that left a big shock that let stones and debris being thrown everywhere, some of them being struck to elynas beast and made it bleed, from that bleeding born now melusines. Now in the place elynas : lyris,Jacob and beast elynas left. Alain lost every person he ever loved so according to two papers, one saying he was killed by bounty hunters, another one saying he locked himself in a research lab, trying to make something. Edit : after going through the description of monsiuer bossuier and his assistant (who made the ice wind suite), it's proven that alain actually does indeed died.

Guys page X does exist. You can get it after completing the Self fulfilling treasure hunt. The quest is about recovering items for the treasure hunter pair urville and nadia.

Thanks for the guide, however, it took a very long time for me to follow this guide 😬. why? because 1st I was checking the numbers on Roman Numeral chart,(I don't know Roman numbers) 2nd On the screen numbers were different than the actual page number, 3rd the pages were collected in random order. Final issue- number 10 is X in Roman numeral (If I'm not mistaken) and I didn't see it even on the time stamp. It sure was confusing as heck. It started to become funny after a while 😂. But I watch your guides, they are very helpful.

Nice videos kyo but i have a suggestion, maybe show which teleport waypoint you click on for longer because usually you just say teleport to this waypoint and teleport right away i have to rewind the video a lot when you do that

Acutaly he does some hidden quest that are not in the reputation. In reputation there’s 20 quests google them by the name and do them first. If you finish those other quests would be so easy for you. Ps: for your question pls check your reputation

It's a quest from a melusine in their village. She can see things you don't and is by the water reading a book

What is the purple mud for ???
