Hey Max! You nailed some of the mega evos, one thing to remember don’t make things too detailed, sometimes it could make it not like a Pokémon, you can still make things sharp but just don’t overdo it (for a Pokémon design) example Meowscarada the fur in the ears is too much!! Simplify it and along with more noticeable changes.

If I wanted to give Tinkaton a mega evolution, I'd make it similar to Masked Dedede (Kirby franchise) and make it either a Steel type or Steel/Electric Type

If you're going to do another Type Swap video; can it be Tinkaton? I'd love to see what you do with it and its hammer! Examples: Grass type- Have the hammer handle made of vines and the hammer gets covered in moss, thorns, and flowers Poison type- Have the hammer covered in purple ooze with a skull and crossbones on it Flying type- Flying hammer with angel wings on the side

No, the hammer is made of corvinight, because the tinkaton knock them out of the sky and use their remains to make their hammer. So I don’t think it would change, it would essentially just be a lot older, and they might change the fairy instead of the steel

You’ve done amazingly well with the fanmade megas (Fun Fact: Roaring Moon seems to have a connection to Mega Evolution)

There are things that imply that the paradox pokemon are imagined. If this is the case, then what the connection probably is would be that Sada saw something about mega salamence, but didn't know what it was, so imagined it as an ancient salamence

Hey dude these were all great, I really like salt tower boi, but I wasn't really feeling the future forms, one thing for next megas is that they promote an aspect of the pokemon and make it mega, so with Iron hands I wasnt feeling the body since his feature is his hands and you kinda downplay them, so for a fix i recommend making his hands giant, rocket propelled, or super armored which can reflect on a megas stat changes such as Attack, Speed, and defense

Koraidon already looks like a mega evolution of itself.

Quite a few of them don't really match up to what Mega Evos do. But others are bangers. Of all of them Iron Valiant looks less like a Mega and more like what the mon would've looked like as flesh and blood.

I think ya missed the design idea behind tinkaton, they hunt flying corvid to make their hammers by literally sniping them out of the sky. I feel like your design leans to heavy on the idea of fairy and even with the giant hammer head is doesn't feel like it embodies the idea of steel at all.. Would have just gone with a hammer more obvious in corviknight design and some armor off her core turn her into a fairy knight with a giant hammer.

@@tormentedstar8480 i was going by the pokedex entry for scarlet which specificity states they aim for flying corviknights. That's the only Pokémon important enough to mention by name in the pokedex entry.

@@tormentedstar8480 that's for tinkatuff's dex entry and why I always thought tinkatons hammers has that fin on the top. Like a beaten up pincer. Tinkatons pokedex says corviknight, so that's why I suggested the corvid theme for the banners next step up, and adding a beak like protrusion on the back of the hammer would make it look like a war hammer rather than forge hammer. Like the previous steps tink has been building her hammer and now in the mega evolution it's finished

Half of these ignore the idea that you can take something from the design base design of a Pokemon and play around with it instead half of these designs just decide to add more spikes also what's with the Pokemon cards they make no sense

This might be a bad opinion, but for some of these Pokémon, I don’t really like how over-detailed they are. Might not be a problem but knowing the Megas of existing Pokémon, they all feel out of place. Other than that I still like them. Although Mega Meowscarada’s mega isn’t as good. Also mega Gholdengo could look better

Megas are extremely cool! But the problem is that they are absurdly unbalanced, I feel like terastalization and dynamax are better gimmicks because they make competitive Pokémon more diverse and open more battle opportunities then just using Mega lucario and blaziken. Personal though, sorry if that offended you 😢

Mega evolution is coming back for Kalos dlc. Insider news and leakers have sources on them. Also some of the mega evolution abilities are in the game or masterfile.
