I was researching stuff for a story and keep hearing about this experiment. So crazy that removing electrons from a metal can be so explosive!
What is size of that ball? Explosion takes less than 10 frames (less than 9/10000 second) so we could calculate speed. It must be fast.
Try suppressing the Hydrogen chemistry with Hexane.
