That's the difference between other singers and lata mangeshkar she could sing better than other singers who were younger than her even in old age . She was in her sixties during the nineties and could sing like a 20 year old while alka yagnik started losing her voice quite early

All stars are busy doing their various activities and may be even they are out of home , so it's not possible to come suddenly. There may be any communication problems such as airplanes and they signed every concerts to perform, so it's not cancelled as they did signature. That's why.

Alka lost her voice and her singing is poor here. She seems out of touch and practise. I liked the depth of voice in her younger days. She sang with expresssion and could hit high pitch easily without squeaking. It is sad that she in unable to sing here

Why do Indians especially celebrities keep mixing two languages whenever they make speeches. I understand most of them are multilingual. But come on to pay tribute to Lataji , shouldn’t you stick to Hindi which was Lataji’s most spoken language ?

it's not something a person actively chooses to do. when speaking, there are some concepts that are easier to say in one language as opposed to another, so when anyone speaks especially if they're multi lingual and they speak, if they've having trouble speaking in one language they automatically switch to another.

What's wrong with Alka ji. She is in her fifties only not 60's or 70's but still not able to sing properly in Sur and taal .that too in middle octave .

Age isn’t kind to everyone. Some people’s voice ages differently than others. She is sounding weak her and that could be due to a lot of reasons. I also think her being emotional caused her to lose her breath
