Her eyes have defined her since childhood. Her voice has set the gold standard and she is living history with 27 Grammy’s out of 42 nominations and her faith has set her in God’s Light in Jesus Christ.

I have been listening to Allison for years and I always will. Her voice is so angelic and soothing and her musical talent is unmatched. As a guitar and fiddle player myself, I wish I had just a drop of her skills. Many musicians and singer perform music, a small number express it from their heart. Allison expresses it from her soul. God bless her for the beauty she brings to the world. A gift from God.

I’d never heard of her and was taken to Merlefest a someone not yet introduced to bluegrass. I saw easily over a hundred amazing musicians at that festival but she stood out above all the rest and I have never turned back. I love her unique softness full of emotion and a tinge of tears. I can’t get enough!

Whenever I imagine the sound of angels singing, I hear Allison.

No, it is a tribute to genetic flukes and the work put in.

She loves sad songs. It's called empathy. Not many can put themselves in a sad person place and bring something out that is so evident in her singing. Beautiful lady with a beautiful heart and voice.

Alison came up as a fiddle player, before everybody realized she had the voice of an angel.

Allison's parents were phenomenal. She exemplifies their parenting.

There are a very few singers that have the ability to stop you in your tracks just by the sound of their voice. Alison Krauss is one of them. I literally can’t concentrate on anything else when one of her songs is playing…and it doesn’t matter which song it is. I have to stop and listen. That voice gets inside of me somehow. It’s like a cold drink of pure spring water on a scorching hot day. It satisfies right down to your soul as you drink it in.

Lovely, unassuming lady. A pleasure to listen to her interview, just like her singing.. She reflects a good upbringing ,and a lack of ego which is not always the case in artists with far less talent.

I think her parents are extra-ordinary people.

Allison is one of the greats that will be remembered when that comes to pass like Stanley. She sings so smoothly there is no other like her.

At 56 I still need my mom and desperately miss my dad. No matter how old a child gets, they always need their mom and dad

a beautiful voice...an angel on earth...brings tears to my eyes...my granddaughter says she has the voice of an angel she was 12-13 then...thanks for all the beautiful music, and memories you guys!!!

She's a wonder from God! A nice Christian Lady, blessed with one of the best voices ever on earth to sing to us poor foolish sinners out here in the Heartland! :)

Do you know for sure if she’s a Christian? I’ve seen this in print a little bit, but never knew for sure. I know Ron Block is and has excellent Christian albums.

I'm 54 and Alison Krauss makes me wish I was into Blue Grass when I was younger. I've always heard the name but never looked into her music. And what an amazing story she has. I'm looking forward to listening to more of her now. What a beautiful person inside and out.

I got to see her and Union Station perform for the Sound Stage show when it came back in 2003. It was so awesome to see everybody just being themselves and goofing off.

She is just beautiful inside and out with a voice to match!

I would give everything to have a Soul like Alison Krauss' in my life forever...

I’ve seen her in concert twice, and I’d love to see her again. She performs so well. ❤️

She was absolutely on fire when I heard AKUS back in 2005 - heavenly from the very first note! And she almost airways gives something special to anything she sings live - as with 'Paper Airplane', when she did a version on the TODAY show that in comparison made the studio version seem pretty tame

One of human history's most extraordinary and humble musical talents. she is so wry. I admire her so much. Her Union Station work is inimitable..her work since has evolved in a beautiful way. The collaborations with Sting, James Taylor, Robert Plant..just wow. Pure radiant mellifluity

I have listened to Alison Krauss singing for years and years. More than any artist. Never can get enough of her voice. First time I've seen her interviewed. I could marry her. Will try and get to her concerts next. She is truly a soul in this world who brings joy to many lonely people and happy people of course.

She's just so genuine! If she had no talent at all, ....she'd still be a "star", someone you'd feel fortunate to meet, and likely wouldn't forget!

alison is most likely the most underrated voice of all time she has it all intelect , heart , physical beauty there is no one on this planet that is as real as her. I was lucky to see here just befor she hooked up with ron, jerry and dan and she has never looked back she is a force of nature .and she will forvere be my favorite voice and the band is totaly incredible

I love to sing sad songs also....I'm so glad to hear her saying this! I think that's why I like to listen to this lady... There is something about the sad songs that make us think deeply and look inside our innermost heart. I wish more people feel the same way. It would be a better world!

Her name is in the title of the video!!!! " Allison Krause" was a student qt Kent university who was killed during a student protest in the early seventies

I listen to her music all the time, sometimes I go to sleep listening to her amazing voice.👋👋👋💖👍👍👍

It is a point of pride that my wife and I had the opportunity to listen to Alison when she played some of the bars on campus at the University of Illinois in Champaign before she really hit the big time.

Alison is on my playlist ever week in my Radio Show She is Unique As we Say they threw away the mould there is only one Alison

She is gorgeous and an amazing talent.

I loved her ever since I heard her. Not in person...on my car radio. (Off of her "Two Highways" album......)......"Teardrops Will Kiss The Morning Dew". I was TRYING to drive....my TEARS were making my driving DANGEROUS. Thank GOD nobody else was on the Highway that day!! I had to have that album. The next day the Music Store didn't have any Bluegrass in stock....it wasn't popular here in Texas then, as it is now.....and I think Alison Krauss is More Than Likely the REASON for Bluegrass to gain it's current popularity ("WORLDWIDE")......... plus "O Brother Where Art Thou".

Having the pleasure of meeting Alison at Winter Hawk Bluegrass festival back in the early 80s before she hit the fame she deserved. It was her, my friend Paul and I in a tent where the performers would met their fans. Something I will never forget and boy has she matured into a beautiful woman and same beautiful voice. Perhaps the best example of a woman in all her glory, and perhaps by a country mile.

One of the best female vocalists ever, _almost_ meets her own standards of excellence. Damn! And she loves the work of some of the other greatest singer-songwriters. This is one of the people who is pushing the limits of what a human can be.
