Funny I feel the same way as that other guy after losing my wife to cancer also. Her beautiful voice brings me peace.

I took my oldest sister to see her @ The Fox, i'd seen her a few times before myself, (before w/My Mom found out she had CA. Then we found out our Moms 2nd 😮CA diagnosis in 2012 came back 5 yrs later) was such a devestatung/special time b/c we found out the 1st time my Mom had CA was the 1st time we saw Alison (obsv didnt know), then after Moms passing we went to the Outlaw Music Festival & saw her again!, this time....the people we were sitting next to asked for my # & ending up sending me a video of me & my "big sissy" swaying" to 'Ill Fly Away which happens to be my Dads favorite hymnal' (2mon before she passed would have been 60yrs of marriage.). How cool is that?!!! Will always love Alison for that (& especially for her fiddle competitions in Missouri!💚)

Alison's playing the violin only not a featured singer on this song. Alison does a lot of instrumental backup performances for other artists. The girl's got it all. Sings AND plays the violin beautifully.

Live performance from the Grammy Awards 2004. Lousy sound mix drowned out Alison's vocals. Sarah's performance was better than the studio version. In an interview afterward, Sarah said that Alison was the most talented artist she had ever collaborated with.
