You have a very legitimate opinion/position around the music and what you like. Both are exceptional. Like you say, Marcin is a Virtuoso. In this video, he was really young, 16. I think that he overdid it. He was young and discovering. Already he showed genius in arrangements. I don't know of other teens that can make such full music on a single acoustic instrument. I am much more attracted to his arrangements than his virtuosity. I'm mindblown by his arrangements, the way he transforms a song to make it entirely his own by injecting his craziness. It's the first time I see Alip Bata. His music was really soothing and beautiful. I actually found his version more enjoyable than Marcin's. I'll go check out more of his performances. Thanks!

Old habits die hard, no doubt marcin was young when he played this but in my opinion he still overdid things whenever he plays. I think alip could do whatever marcin is doing but i dont think marcin would be able to do likewise.

@@abdullahjaffar5939 It's not even a question. Alip is better at percussion than Marcin. Alip is better at tapping and fast harmonics. Alip's composition and arrangements are more complicated. Marcin can't play at Alip's speed. Alip is also much younger than Marcin, so he can improve.

This guy, Marcin, is just amazing. His arrangements and his perfect performance with all the sentiments him put in every song he plays just amaze me. You can feel his sentiment when he plays. And don't forget that music can be expressed with just the instrument and you can understand the mining. Yes the sing part must exist but in the original one. So you are telling me that you don't lessen to classical or instrumental music? This guy is special, him understand the music in a such beautiful way and i believe that in the future him will create great pieces

two differents way to play the same notes. two opportunities to listen depent how you feel. Marcin is one of the best actor I have seen, because he plays the guitar, and in the same time make you feel his heart beating as your do just looking at him. He makes love to you with his body, while making his guitar vibrate full of love.

think what uncle Gianni said is even you had so much talented skill of guitar like Marcin but there is no soul in what his song..I think playing guitar even though it is fingerstyle..the guitarist have to put their soul in their guitar and not just good sound and skill..but Alip Ba Ta had it all..good sound..skill and most of all his soul when he playing his guitar that makes the song his own song..

For me as alip fans... we should get the credit to marcin, he is very younger, he always have great performances... full skill and technic... not everyone can do that things hhe... just amazing but once again everyone have their favour of type music including in acoustic guitar... plus point alip in here... he is just bring in easy way to listening like you already mention it with his soul... and always send the original message of this song even if he took in diffrent way... in this case not to apple to apple... probably... for me like as you say uncle... music is "simple" By the way... huge respect uncle for uploading this video... hhe...

Both are talented and gifted players. However, Marcin draws me in more. His facial expressions, the way he uses & moves his body….it looks like the guitar is an extension of himself and he plays with such passion. The way he arranges music, the way he plays and the fact that he is only 21 (and much younger in many of his videos….I think 16 in this video) is just mind blowing to me. Alip is wonderful too. His style seems calming & soothing and makes me feel relaxed. Marcin makes me feel alert & alive. Both are great at their own style and I hope they both continue to make and play amazing music!

To be honest, you can found many better acoustic musician than Marcin, since he is not the first one who used that technique. I even seen street musician plays better than Marcin. But yet, you'll never seen anyone plays like Alip Ba Ta.

I seen several times in the street with my own eyes, so I don't have to make you believe me (btw I also a musician, I played toxicity thousand times on the stages when I was teenager, so pls don't teach me how to understand music). Also, it's not my fault if you never seen any better street musician than Marcin. One thing you should understand, there's always many great people above great people. Marcin is good, but not the best, still many people above him.

Both are great guitarists and very talented, nothing to compare. Each has its own characteristics, if you want to hear a more gloomy interpretation, then listen to Alip, but if you want to see an attractive show then Marcin can be an option. Because for me, music is something to listen to, and should be able to touch my soul, without talking skill, technique and other things. Alip and Naudo are two guitar instrumentalists that are my favorites, because they can make music that I can enjoy and touch my heart.

As a music lover, I don't care what kind of music it is, the important thing is to relax and be calm and easy to understand. Complicated or not a piece of music, when we hear it for the first time we will know what song is being played... Many musicians play various types of songs without vocals, but when we play it we don't know what song it is because it is much different from the original song and only briefly just bored.. good music will make us listen to it over and over again because its beauty is heard in the ears, hearts and minds... alip has always appreciated the guitar according to its nature. It's weird if the guitar is forced to make percussion sounds to the limit. What matters is how to convert the song to guitar playing, not imitating the original sound of the song

Marcin believes that the guitar is not only about taut strings. Therefore the whole instrument of the guitar should be used. so is the house - if someone lives in the house, no one uses only the room, but all the rooms that the house offers - kitchen, bathroom and room

I'm a bit rusty, but with a little effort I can play like Alip (and I'm sure many other does it already). On the other side, I must reincarnate several times in order to be able not to play, but to try to play like Marcin does. We have to admit it: Marcin is a phenomenon, he's one of that people who are only born once in a thousand years.

@@GianniBravoSka What he said has nothing to do with whether he didn't get what you said or not. It's easier for Marcin to play like Alip, than Alip to play like Marcin. I enjoy more listening to the music that Alip makes than most of the music Marcin makes. However, as much as I listen to Alip more, I acknowledge Marcin as a much better skillful technical guitarist. I would also put skills, techniques, and creativity above preference, taste, and soul, which are subjective. And the video you react is old. Marcin is only 21 years old now.

@@escuadrian2011 Alip makes music that many people like (covers especially), whereas people like Marcin, Luca, Misko and some others prefer to make their own, which is not in the liking of many people in general. Alip also has strong fanbase who will appreciate reactors if they make reactions of him. People confuse favorite as best or better. That's what I think, and I agree with what you said.

@@gratefulyes6282Given that art and technique do not always coincide. I am convinced of Marcin's great talent. I used Toxicity in particular to express a concept that I think is important. When you decide to do a cover you have to respect the artist. There are songs where words are as important as music. Forgetting it does not do justice to the artist of reference. Maybe too young to understand it.

Bagiku skill tinggi ialah dia bs menempatkan sesatu pada tempatnya dan penempatan penempatan itu menjadikan suguhan indah yg musah di fahami mudah dinikmati,saya setuju dg bapa ini,alip tahu kebutuhan jiwa manusia,makanya dia buatlah aransemen cover seperti itu!menurut ku itu bukan hanya skill bermain tinggi tp jg skill kejeniusan dalam bermusik bg ku itulah mas alips,kenapa jelas musik sod itu di buat sedemikian rupa sampai menjadi indah bahkan menurut selera saya itu lbh bs dinikmati secara umum,dan aransement bukan kaleng2 dan dg penunjukan sedikit skill tp pada inti,menurut ku dividio ini mas alip menyampaikam bahwa aku disini menyelipkan skill ku sedikit dn sedemikian rupa tp aku tunjukan tentang sesuatu kejeniusan skill dalam bermusik maka jadilah aransement ini dengan penunjukan skill yg indah dan berbobot

Marcin to fenomen Alip Bata to zwykły grajek, Marcin zagra wszystko, jednak nikt nie zagra tak jak Marcin. Nikt nie ma techniki na takim poziomie i szybkości gry jak Marcin.

zgadzam się , i nie dlatego że Marcin to rodak (w ocenach jestem obiektywny np jest taki " styl muzyczny " który narodził się w Polsce i uważam , że jest najgorszy ze wszystkich na świecie jako osoba dyskretna nie powiem że chodzi o disco polo ), tylko dlatego , że to prawda . Do gry tego Indonezyjczyka pasuje cytat z naszego kultowego serialu " ładne ale nudne dość ". Ludzie porównują tu sprawnego rzemieślnika i geniusza. Nie znam dobrze twórczości tego Alibaby, to co dotąd słuchałem mnie nudzi , ale czy ma swoje kompozycje , jak Marcin czy tylko trzepie covery ?

@@GianniBravoSka soul and heart didnt come from Alip, they came from the authors of Toxicity and Alip just copied them. You could see soul and heart in Marcins version who created totally new piece of art.

@@thurisazx ze swoim sabiutkim, bez wyrazu gosikiem i przeciętną grą na gitarze był nudny jak flaki z olejem. Nie ma porównania do pełnej ekspresji i virtuozowskiej wersji Marcina.
