My dream RV. Easily towable, fits in my garage, off grid ready, cassette toilet, & separate shower. Built to last many years. Pop in a couple of lithium batteries & a 3,000 watt inverter and no need for hookups unless you need AC. I’d pay the premium price as it meets all my needs and I’ve owned several class A RVS and a class B. I want one.

Well, that is the going rate for trailers like this. The Conqueror 440/490 are smaller but in the same price range. Even small off road teardrops are in the $30-40k range. The point of something like this is it can be towed by a CUV or go down off road trails without hanging up a mid sized truck. Its also nice to be able to travel the country without spending $10k+ in gas.

A fan of the step-down shower, clever for sure. Wonder how the curtain sets up? Lots of windows, room, dig the solar panel, 15” wheels and the exterior paint scheme has personality. Great video, thanks.

Honestly, I think you're better off buying that on your own, aftermarket. For better quality & performance, lower cost and easier servicing. However, I'd agree that it would be nice to have space allocated with convenient mounting points and access to make it easy to set up. Especially a battery bay.

That's a really good looking travel camper, which has the best of both world's, collapsible for travel and hugely spacious for camp. Excellent idea on the on demand shower, there's no room to lose to a dedicated shower room, and when required its a shower, and when it isn't, its coveted living soace! Nice to see A-Liner improving their already good products.

First impression it's beautiful. I do question leaks with so many part's getting connected each time you use it though. Two great idea's on paper might not be great idea's in practice and that's the shower and toilet. Privacy is all but gone with the shower and toilet, doesn't seem that big a deal at first but if you camp with friends or relatives you either have to leave the camper or sit there while someone uses either. If you're eating and someone needs to use the toilet, I just think this is great for a couple but not a family because of the lack of privacy. Most pop-ups don't even offer a shower or toilet so I guess if you compare it to those but they also don't cost over 50k either. I love the look, simplicity, price is way to high though and it just seems it will leak water

Don't those toilets require a lot of energy to run? I don't know how practical that would be if you're going to boondock per se but I could definitely see that working with shore power,no problem. Either that or that dry flush toilet would be amazing to have in a build!

I started out with the Thetford cassette toilet system, but found emptying and cleaning the waste tank to truly be a thing of horror! Thereafter I went over to the bagging system for solids with separate container for liquids. Hygiene, dignity and horror free disposal and cleaning made a welcome return...

  • @NicMercy

    @NicMercy

    Жыл бұрын

@@jrambo7495 It depends. There are some that run on propane and require very little electricity, and others that run solely on electricity and require a lot. In either case, they are also VERY expensive, but I still would rather pay the cost than deal with compost or blackwater. I've seen a van camper build that has the fully electric incinerator toilet, and has a very robust solar setup to accommodate running it (and a ton of other high energy consumption stuff like air conditioning), without needing to be on shore power. Having enough money seems to be the answer to everything :P I suppose a dry flush toilet is something I could deal with over a compost or cassette style toilet, but even having to throw bags of waste in a bin isn't very appealing.

Like the Apache trailers from the '70s. Nice but not knew.

You produce the best, most thorough videos I’ve ever seen. I love your calm and specific descriptions. Keep up the good work! PJ, one thing: height is spelled H E I G H T. WidtH has an H on the end; HEIGHT does not. You say HEIGHTH several times in every video and that isn’t a real word.

I was definitely not expecting the shower to be right there!

Yeah, sorry visitors, move out the way, I am going to have a shower. Isn't it easier to swing a rope with a waterbag across a tree and have a shower? Or even hang it off the side of the Aliner?

It looks great, a really neat package. I liked the earings too, very distracting.

Love that I could have a minimalist “family” camper. It’s quite expensive. Isn’t an airstream Bambi about the same price…

You do such a good job of presenting these RV's. I've mentioned it before. I love my Josh's and Matt's reviews but you have a little more class LOL haha. So that shower is possibly one of the smartest things I've seen in an RV in a long time. Anyhow - best wishes. Cool trailer.

Nicely done unit. I’m just not convinced this has the value of the msrp/sale price.

It would have been better if you had demonstrated putting the shower curtain up. I had to just guess what that would be like and look like.

We just bought big 2023 35 ft camper, I know the wife said she wouldn't like the A-liner. But I like this one and it would fit in our garage during the winter months and even summers when were not using it, I like how easily it can go up and down. We would have to empty the toilet every other day or even once a day, because we both drink a lot of fluids. I wonder how much this camper goes for.

I really liked it until she opened the under seat storage. I like the idea of being able to reach something you need from the inside and not having to go out. However did you notice the light shining through that outside storage door? I thought of all the cold air that would come through and how much more propane usage when it gets cold. Insulation seems to be an afterthought on most rv's and campers.
