Such a great pilot Alina is so calm and confident... .. What's interesting is that you feel your being taken along for the flight too.. And it's great looking down at the American country side.. Not too much difference than the English country side.... Great video..

Very cool. She will have a bright future in aviation. I have so many questions. I would love to see more of the electrical switches and panel up above her and where is the flap swicth? Also is that a push to talk switch on the yoke? Just started looking into these aerolites.

I was at LaCrosse air show many moons ago went to see the Blue Angels - I can see them getting a new member in a few years! I like how quick this aircraft gets airborne. Question William - I watched a video of the Aerolite being built it comes as standard with a 'twist grip' throttle/ brake assembly. I notice Alinas bird has a side LEVER throttle - did you modify this as it seems a lot easier to use?

Sehr schön. Ich bin in Canada mit meinem Bruder in einem ähnlichen UL mitgeflogen. Du fliegst da sehr gut, bleib vorsichtig was um dich herum so fliegt dass du gut wieder nach hause kommst. Wünsche Dir viele schöne Flüge. Wie heisst das UL und Motor. 😊

Nice flying, but it looks terribly uncomfortable to fly with entirely straightened legs.

ok Alina so how old are you now and what age did you start flying ? I have always wanted to fly. I'm 44 never to late to start thinking about it. Is that Yellow and blue plane your first plane ? do you fly by watching time as i see your tanks aluminum or does you got a fuel gauge on dash ?

She still 14. She starter flying this airplane when she was 14. It's her first plane. She has a fuel gauge but the flights are planned so that fuel should never be an issue.

How is your Aerolite spec'd out (engine, fuel capacity, etc.)? Also, I have been looking into what they offer and was wondering if the digital panel is worth getting over the analog panel (mainly visibility over the analog gauges). I plan on getting a Garmin 196 as well mainly for the GPS mapping.

It has a Kawasaki 440cc engine with electric start. I don't think they offer that anymore unless you ask for it. It's a simple engine and reliable. I didn't bother with all the fancy instruments. Just the standard. And yes the 196 is good. I added a battery that's charged by the engine and also powers the 196.

@@williamh.scottv438 Thanks for the reply. I was also wondering if the fuel tank is the 5 gal. or was increased to the 7 or 10 gal. Just working out the flight time calculations based on engine hp to gal per hour. They don't show to offer the 440 on the 103 anymore so looking into the MZ201 (close to same hp). I am wanting something to play around in instead of taking out my 172 all the time. Thanks again for the reply and great job teaching Alina. She looks to have great skills as a future pilot.

@@jmug68 2.5 gal per hour. Let's say the gas tank is 5 gal otherwise it wouldn't be an ultralite.

It's a fantastic airplane to goof around with instead of your 172 but it's not fun to fly in wind that would be not that bad in your 172.

About 60 mph but she cruises at 50.

They are available for this airframe but this one doesn't have one.

As a Father, I could not, in all good conscience , send my child up like this . (at her age) If, God forbids, she crashes, you will NEVER forgive yourself!
