That's an amazing video, fantastic, congratulations ! Learning to fly the way you have done is the same way World War One pilots learnt, really learning to use seat-of-the-pants intuitive flying skills with very basic aircraft and instrumentation. Something many trained and qualified Pilots are lacking. You show amazing commitment, concentration and dedication, very well done.

Doing great! When I have taught students to fly on a Cessna 150, (CFII retired) being that it is a pretty light aircraft, they develop a light touch on the controls. That is exactly what you have is a developed light touch. This can make a really good pilot. There are planes with heavy controls like the Piper twin the Navajo but you are starting a flight career in a great way. Blue skies, safety first! Edit: correcting punctuation

What a blast. Awesome. You do such a good job flying your ultralight. This needs more skills than flying a Cessna 150. I would fly over bad landing areas a little bit higher cross country. Having some altitude over big forest areas is safety. When the engine quits you have time to glide to a good landing spot. Just a thought. Keep going, you are great. It’s a joy to watch. ❤

Ok … when I was 14? My bmx bike was my world, and rode it everywhere. Miles !!!!!!! I love flying and could not imagine having my own plane when I was 14. I watch with a total smile saying that’s rad.

It's the "push to talk" button or PTT. You push it when you want to transmit something on the radio.

I like the fact that the Aerolite can fly also in the rain measuring the amount of downpour with that clever clear tube on the left side of the plexiglass. Oh by the way, now that the pandemic is over, that plexiglass could in fact be removed, right? Congrats from the typical keyboard lion

it's a pity that it's tilipae, probably light wings, I have heavy ones, it goes like an iron on an incline, you can sleep

For this trip she was generally traveling west so there was a head wind that only got stronger the higher she flew.

It approached the runway in an ugly movement. Visual calculation, in the last curve, could be much better..
