साल 1936 में असरारूल हक़ मजाज़ 'मजाज़ लखनवी' की लिखी ये नज़्म आज अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम यूनिवर्सिटी का तराना है। ख़ान इश्तेयाक़ ने इस नज़्म को धुन दी और 17 अक्टूबर 1954 में 'सर सैयद डे' के दिन ही यूनिवर्सिटी प्रशासन ने इसे बतौर ‘तराना-ए-AMU' अपनाया।
