Pakistan back in 80's used to be very tolerant and progressive society. People were very passionate about art and culture. Then came Mr. Religion in the shape of Zia-ul-haq the dictator. He used religion for his own political sake and invited Afghans. Radicalization , gun culture,intolerance, hypocrisy,extreme conservatism,narrow mindedness, illiteracy, talibanisation followed. Pakistanis should now follow the Turkish model . Time is running out fast. Don't go back to dark ages. Bring back the love and compassion we had for every human being and nature. Bring back the sufi culture. Bring back the pure and simple peaceful Islam that only teaches love and compassion for every living being.
