The Alien universe is expanding, with a brand new sequel, hitting theaters this August!
Taking place years after the events of the Alien franchise, a group of young space explorers find themselves leaving their home planet, to find an abandoned space station, which also happens to be infested with (you guessed it) our favorite alien race. They bite.
Ridley Scott is set to produce, so naturally, we trust this. Fede Alvarez (Don/t Breathe, Evil Dead) is also directing, so we really like the odds on this one.

I'm loving this new wave (I mean as in past 10 years) of filmmakers revitalizing franchises. Adam Wingard straight up went from VHS to Godzilla x Kong. Now we got Fede Alvarez, ready to crush another franchise.

Glad to see this franchise continue, need more vs predator movie too ( i enjoyed those), and hoping we get Prey 2 soon too, maybe a Prey version with Aliens 👽 😀

Prey was sooooo good!!!! A sequel would be great. Kinda okay with Alien doing their own thing for now though 🤓
It's not a sequel to all the movies, it's set between Alien and Aliens.

@Niven110 it is called being passionate. In my world, I love this franchise as I grew up with it, and alien was the first horror film I saw. Got a life and got a pretty passionate mindset. Sometimes, people also go through things. People are different and think differently. Get over yourself.
Hoping this movie is good. The previous was an absolute dumpster fire

no engineers from the last 2 movies,,,, no dialogue or insight where there was a fight with David and the engineers who terra planted us here,,,, they spoiled us with Prometheus,, left us haging with no answers,, Dr Shaw wanted to know why they wanted to kill all life on Earth
