*FUN FACT* - Ron Perlman nearly drowned while filming the underwater sequence. At one point, when trying to surface, he hit his head on a sprinkler in the ceiling, knocking him out cold. He was rescued by nearby film crew members.

Its OK. Better than Logan Green in prometheus. And Charlize Theron looked like she was looking at her iphone in thst movie.

Donno, Alien Resurrection is like some freak ass masterpiece. I actually enjoy it every time I watch it.

Same. It's kinda like Godfather 3. It got a lot of hate because it ain't the first 2. But just like G3 this movie gets better the more you see it.

Yeah looking back it wasn't terrible. The dialogue just didn't compare to the first 2 and it was hard to bond with a lot of the characters especially Ripley. I know she was part alien...so that made her...sassy/animalish? I don't know what they were going for but it didn't do anything for me. I will say this was one of the last movies that used puppetry and animatronics in a disturbing way and damnit it was disturbing!

Whilst 1 and 2 are obviously the best ive got to say ive probably watched 3 and resurrection the most. This is great as you can throw it on in the background whilst doing something else

Growing up in the 90s this was the first Alien film I watched, so it is close to my heart. It gets alot of hate, but i feel its more entertaining than Alien 3.

It always cracked me up when they had the aliens turn around and whisper amongst themselves as if the humans could hear and understand them.

The not so epic solution to a xenomorph outbreak… just wait a couple of days for them to dehydrate and turn into xenoflakes.

I don't know why everybody hated this movie. I really liked it. And Alien 3 wasn't do bad either. It's a real cool horror and sci-fi movies

I was introduced to this movie as a kid and absolutely loved it!

If this movie had been a random monster movie it would have been goofy but basically fine. Making it a sequel to Alien just didn’t work

GOOD Movie

Always liked this over Alien 3. The problem I hadliking Alien 3 was everytime suspense was suppose to be building it kind of fizzled. In Alien ressurrection they opted for a different direction, realizing imo, that they couldn’t hope to create the suspense of the first two movies and instead opted for the baroque and grotesque akin to Delicatessen and City of the Lost Children.

Forget that prometheus or covenant nonsense. This is the shit.

I liked the movie overall, but too many things are dumb for sure, like nobody tries to help christie and vriess after johner kills the alien. He just goes up joking like nothing happened. In Aliens you cared, they made you care for every marine

so glass would be acid proof? I for one never called this into question: this is a classic "didnt think of it until it is too late" who would think they would kill one of their own. simple design flaw. what i call into question: how come 3 of them are in the same container?

@@knightmare5097 yea proves another point: theory is theory. practise is different. all their knowledge was theoretical. having practical experience with the xenomorphs beats that. see also Ripley in A2. the marines were so confident until they got their asses kicked.

@@gratler That was several hundred years ago and those were marines, not scientists. Anyone with half a brain would think these guys would be much smarter in dealing with the issue considering the context. And hell, the marines were arguably smarter than the scientists.

My thoughts that it want technically a bad movie, just so bizarre.

An insult to part 1 & 2.

Easily the worst Alien film... The Aliens look like slugs, the characters are comedic , the acting is awful ... just feels like a parody, filmed by a bunch of 15 year olds doing GCSE film studies.

I think Alien 3 or Covenant takes the medal for worst. Or definitely AVP if that crap is included.

This high acidity of blood was the only bullshit that spoiled the film.

This movie is so terrible... a crime against the series. I mean, 3 was bad and a huge letdown. The next film had it easy: Anything competent would have been celebrated along with the first two. But this... Garbage from start to finish. It was a complete waste of time and money.
