Thanks man, I'm glad you liked it! I definitely enjoyed making this one.
Looks like the Bisti Badlands. They’re next on my New Mexico bucket list.
Salute and respect from Ontario, Canada! We watched this video on our TV and I came here to leave this message. You captured some jaw dropping beauty of landscape carved by the erosive action of wind and rain water. We loved those mushrooms of mud and rocks. Your narration was a little slower for our young children, but was good for us LOL!

I live in Maine and I've been to Bisti twice. The first time was during the new moon for astrophotography, then the next year during the full moon. I loved this video it reminded me of the time I was there. It's a place where a GPS is mandatory, especially after dark.

Oh that's awesome, I'm so glad you got explore there, it's such an incredible place! And yeah, gps is your friend out there 😁
it just mind blowing that nature can create these amazing landscapes fantastic video
I filmed there about 10 years ago and very little had this area been photographed even then. Super dusty and windy there most of the year. So make sure you have an extra camera body and don’t take those lenses off much. Enjoyed the video Brent.
That was absolutely awe-inspiring!! Beautiful. We put it on the big screen and watched.

Thank you, I'm glad you guys enjoyed it! I wasn't sure how well it was going to turn out.
Really amazing location, Brent! Your comment about 'Be careful out here', applies to this part of the world as well (Australia). BTW, Subaru rules - just bought an Outback Touring XT. 🙂

Thanks Chris! Congrats on the new subie, that's awesome!
Great vid, Brent. I was lucky enough to spend several days shooting in the Bisti Badlands last October. Truly amazing place. With help from PhotoPills, I managed to get one of my favorite Milky Way shots so far -- the core rising between two impressive hoodoos on a perfectly clear night! Like you, I was also chasing sun stars, and again got some of my favorites with the sun peeking out behind awesome hoodoos. I will definitely be returning to this very special place...

Thank you!
We have a micro spot like this in CO, called Paint Mines, it's a county park. Great place to capture "moon" like landscapes. Wish it was as big as what NM has.

Brent, from the start, it looks like you entered from the rez side at Nageezi. I got out there in April of 2022. Dry conditions but 50 mph winds with a haboob. I think i might have traded for the mud. Still a very memorable experience.

Awesome place. I love that type of scenery, and I like how you throw in a few PSA's to tell people to be careful out there. It looks like a place where you can get hurt or lost very easily. Thanks for another great video.

Thanks man! Yeah, this place is amazing, but also super dangerous for the unprepared. Not only the place itself, but also getting there can be highly sketchy and sometimes impossible in bad conditions, or just after bad weather.
This is reminding me of the Missouri River Breaks area.
Hey Brent. You should take a trip to Eastern Finnmark in Norway. On the road to Hamningberg you drive true a landscape formed by a collision between two tectonic plates. And outside Vardø, you will find a bird island called Hornøya, filled up with a lot of different seabirds. There is also a lot of sea eagles there, as well. And in the winter you could hire a float inside the harbour of Vadsø, to take pictures of birds who stay true the winter.

She most definitely would! I should mention too, that I had 2 gps units and a sat phone, so she at least knew where I was and had communication with me at all times.
