Aside from the fitting singing performance, I can't get over the fact how great the lyrics were adapted. The every meteor leaves a mark line and especially the whole part ending in milky way is just the bees knees.

Well, when one thinks of an alien, they think of a living creature that is not from earth, but if you think about it from an alien's perspective, you are the alien since you are a living creature that isn't from their home planet. Rachie isn't an alien, she is just singing the song from an alien's perspective.
