If I Ain't Got You is truly an instant classic. This album deserves to be celebrated as one of the greats. To come out the gate like this and so passionately and put together is really legendary and Alicia did that. It was definitely a moment for me and I don't know how any true music lover cannot appreciate that song in particular. It is a true gem and shows she is a artist that will clearly withstand the test of time in her career.

I was 6 years old watching 106 and park and this soulful girl with a deep voice popped up, beautiful and modest, playing piano singing. I was hooked, this album is timeless! Everyone still plays her music. Now that I'm a grown woman listening to this album I get her on a different level.

You are right. I loved this interview. No political issues. Just love and laughter. I'm 66 years young and sure we want to know what people feel about issues in the country/world. But, I was happy Zane stuck to what this was about 20 years of those beautiful songs and what her life was about back then. Thank you. May God continue to bless us all.

Diary of Alicia Keys and Songs In A Minor both helped me through so many tough times over the years since she released those albums. I find her music to be so therapeutic. She's a true musician and songwriter. If you've never seen her live, put her on your concert wish list. Her shows are musical experiences in the best possible way.

I can’t believe this… Recently I found my journals from when I was still in my teens…one page made me emotional in a very special way… There I’m writing my heart down on paper being in deep sorrow cause just recently my then girlfriend broke up with me…and I was writing that only two things brings me hope. It was upcoming New Year party and…listening to this very album! I’ve highlighted two songs which are “If I ain’t got you” & “Diary” and reading this little piece of my own story brought me emotionally back to when I was so little and heartbroken but full of expectations and hope. I’m playing album right now, and I’m crying my happiest tears. Tears of joy. Thank you, Alicia and each and every one who’s been working on this album! And thank you guys for this film♥️♥️♥️

This was superb, so entertaining, informative, humble and gifted.. great interview and love that Alicia loves her own music, she appreciates the gift. Heartbreaking but glad she explained her songs and their inspiration from Timbaland, to Biggie, to Kanye, and Glady's to that moment Aaliyah died. Sooo glad she acknowledged that and how it was gut wrenching. Sometimes.. life, the universe whatever, chooses and cancels it appears to be so in this case, I remember the moment like yesterday at the awards show when Alicia won and Aaliyah was not on the stage.. Makes you wonder why musicians and artist are taken too soon. That songs lyrics 'some people want it all, but I don't want nothing at all, seems like it was the love he had for Aaliyah. So yes, this was an amazing interview and congratulations on Alicia's next endeavor. Thank's Apple Music!

Okay... Sometimes it might feel that's about what he has to say, but that's the charm of his interviews , that are more a conversation... Because of his experience, his work that is to do the research if needed, but maybe most of all because of his mindset. And to put too much, as for sure there is some with any professional, self-consciousness in there. "how much.? . not too much" "how personal? Not too..." looking for perfection... Wouldn't take look fake, scripted? Instead of a real conversation... with a plan, a subject, an artist invited, but with the only purpose of loving and celebrating "that" music
