Her musicality is so impressive.
This piece was her’s! She played it like she had written it herself.AMAZING
Es emoción, poesía, apasionamiento, energía, dulzura.... Lo dice todo desde el piano y se siente que es en vivo, dándolo todo y con tal perfección!. INSUPERABLE
Bravo! A piece of Heaven on earth!..3D voice leading & placement of notes..never heard anything comparable.. tangible & exquisitely Beautiful..
Entrancing music masterfully expressed by this music genius and performer.
Wonderful performance!! Her interpretive approach (along with Carnival and the piano concerto) is like no one else's...her firm rhythmic grasp is apparent everywhere, but most especially in torturous 2nd mvt; this is what has always set her playing from out from other pianists ..those rolled chords are crisp, not slack, which is how they should be... As much as I love Martha, she really makes a mess out of this piece)..

I was lucky enough to attend this concert and remember it well. She opened with two Soler sonatas, and after the Fantasy played Falla's Serenata Andalzua, Cuatro Piezas Espanolas, and Fantasia Betica. It was an outstanding recital. (Martha never had the warmth ADL brought to Schumann, and I think her - ADL's - Schumann is unsurpassed).
Thank you!!! 🙏🏻❤❤❤
Beautiful recording as well, which sounds as if the entire recital was recorded...what else did she play and can you upload those pieces as well?
